I can only reiterate what everyone else has said. I stayed here with a friend while visiting Houghton Hall. Everything was perfect and a glass of sherry before dinner was the icing on the cake. Thank you Wendy and Andy - you have certainly done - and are doing - a great job.

Room Tip: Room 2 - a lovely twin bedded room with great views onto the green and pond

Stayed for 1 night and what a great place, lovely location overlooking the green, very dark at night as no street lights.
The room was big, airy, lovely colour scheme, actually throughout the place. Big comfortable bed but the best for me was the walk in shower, really big, lovely towels.
A small carafe of sherry, what a superb gesture.
The breakfast room was big, spacious and tastefully decorated. We had our tasty breakfast at a big oak table. The whole place had been lovingly restored. Warm welcome as well.

Room Tip: As there are only 2 rooms and you want a double bed it is room 1. The other room is twin bedded.

I stayed for one night after working in Fakenham. Andy gave me a warm welcome and recommended a lovely nearby restaurant. The room was huge and immaculate with lovely thoughtful touches; sherry, super soft bedding and what I think was a memory form mattress. The breakfast was delicious. I'm already booked for next week !

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in Room 1. This is a large room with a settee so it was ideal. Furthermore it was appointed to a vert high standard. The owners made us very welcome and nothing seamed too much trouble. An excellent breakfast set us up for the day. The position of the house makes a great base for exploring all of the delights of Norfolk. We will be back and have recommended Flint House to our friends.

Visiting nearby Houghton Hall (6 miles by SatNav) we stayed just one night at Flint House. Andy came out to greet us which is always nice when you arrive at a new place and took us to our very spacious, clean and bright room. The whole house is recently refurbished and had been nicely decorated. Our ensuite was excellent. The shower was particularly good for someone over 6'4". Any visiting Americans would not be disappointed with the facilities compared to home although I'm not sure what they would make of the complimentary sherry. Being Brits we certainly indulged before going out for dinner.

Breakfast was excellent and overall staying at Flint House was one of the best decisions we have made. The only disappointmenst were we stayed just the one night and we never got to hear Andy play one of the various instruments around the house.

What can I say, this place was one of the best we have ever stayed in. Lovely spacious double room with en suite with two windows; one overlooked Weasenham green. Linens and bedding were good, and tea/coffee etc in room and even chocolates on the bed!!
The breakfast was perfect - all the best products cooked to perfection. Andy and Wendy were also attentive to every need, and nice people to boot. I don't think we could fault our stay.

Friendly and welcoming - the glass of sherry on arrival was a nice touch.
The room was very comfortable and clean and the bathroom was very modern and of a high standard.
There was a good choice for breakfast and it was nicely cooked.
The owners gave us very good local information and were very helpful.
