Lovely location with a dynamite view of Loch Feochan, lovely room with an impeccable modern bathroom, and lovely breakfast - these are only the beginning. The hosts Duncan and Rosemary were so friendly, helpful, and hospitable!! We are eager to return when we next visit Scotland!

We found this bed and breakfast on the Oban website and we were not disappointed. The house was spotless and tastefully decorated. Rosemary the owner was delightful and really welcomed us to her lovely home. Breakfast was delicious and the view from our room over Loch Feochan was delightful. Well worth a visit.

This was our first stop and first B & B on our trip through Scotland. It was the best introduction we could have asked for and set the standard for all the B & B's subsequently. None measured up to Lagganbuie. There was no item, no point, and no sense in which this lodging and breakfast could have been more perfect. The beds were heavenly, the linen, towels, soaps, pillows, comforter top notch. The breakfast was ample, well prepared with more options than we received elsewhere. Rosemary is a gracious, lovely hostess.

Room Tip: All the rooms (3 of them) are equally good.

I found this B&B online after being asked by some friends to find a place in Oban so we could do the 3 island boat tour. I had no idea what it was like inside so we were completely delighted when we arrived. There are 3 rooms available and the two we had were tasteful, clean, en-suite and spacious. Rosemary MacIntyre, the lady of the house was warm and welcoming and made the best porridge I have had. The dining room was charming and a beautiful living room and conservatory was also made available to us. Drive through Oban and head about 6 miles out along Soroba Road till you get almost loch side and it's there on the left. Parking is available and you are in for a real treat!

Room Tip: No tips for a good room but the rate was fantastic

A warm welcome from Rosemary...a pleasant front room well appointed & comfortable with views over the loch..a great breakfast with plenty of menu choices, steamed haddock & poached egg for me, smoked salmon & scrambled eggs for husband....the only tiny niggle was the picture of property on website. It seemed that property is set well back from the road. There was plenty of parking out back, however you are closer to the road & there is some traffic noise early in the night if you are a light sleeper.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay with Rosemary at Lagganbuie. The house is located opposite Loch Feochan and our front bedroom had an amazing view across to the loch. The guest lounge was cozy and there were magazines and books available for guests to read. Breakfast was great - we tried haddock, black pudding and traditional Scottish porridge (salty, may not be to everyone's liking) as well as normal breakfast fair. The B&B's location for sightseeing is great -- close to the Kilmartin Glen, Isle of Seil & Oban. On our departure Rosemary provided us with some fantastic spots to see on our drive to Fort William including a beautiful old church which had our ancient 'clan seat' - a highlight of our trip.

Room Tip: Front room had great loch views
