This report is long overdue. I stayed there in late June with my spouse, son and daughter. This is a gem of a hotel, very unique in design, yet not compromising quality and comfort in any way. From hospitable and warm welcome to amenities and service anticipation all is to meet and exceed customer expectations. Our suite was picture perfect and included also a sauna and jacuzzi . The breakfast was simple and good with touches of local cuisine. The sunset dinner on the terrace is not to be missed. Good cuisine, affordable wines and attentive and cordial service. We had even been offered a free ride into town and an after dinner pick up. And exceeding all expectations was an unsolicited offer for a late check out. Full marks for hospitality par excellence!

It was a gorgeous converted into a hotel room and awesome lighting. The restaurant inside the hotel had the best food I had at any place during my entire stay in Turkey. The only slight disadvantage is the location. It is not located centrally and you have to be part of a tour to make the best access to this hotel and tours from this hotel.

It's far out from any shops/downtown... but it is quite a neat hotel. Each room is different. We stayed in a suite which had 2 bathrooms, and 2 twins, and then a foyer room, with 2 day beds and a fireplace. There was a little tv, mini fridge, decent wifi, warm floors in the room (came in November), and robes and a desk. Rooms had complimentary water bottles! The pool was very small -- I couldn't see swimming in it in the summer, it was more like a fountain.
Breakfast was a somewhat small spread- nasty coffee, lots of fruits, they had 2 hot plates, and you could also get omlettes. Dinner was good-- their mezze appetizer was memorable.

Note-- it's weird the way the hotel is situated. There's a one way road down to the hotel, in which only the hotel shuttle can travel. Thus, your bags will go down with the shuttle, and you can walk down (you can also take the shuttle). They offer free bike rentals, but not sure where you would bike.

This hotel is probably one of the furtherest out hotels in a small village, but is worth the journey. It is a true cave hotel, but does not have the sand falling from the ceiling like some other reports we heard of other cave hotels. It is a little tricky to find, and bigger vehicles are unable to deliver you to the front door - there is a short walk down once you alight from the transport. There are a few stairs going up to the reception, dining room and hotel rooms so if you are in a wheelchair or unable to climb at all then this could be a problem. We arrived late at night and, despite this, we were greeted very warmly and they catered for us at dinner time. We were woken up very early the next morning for our balloon ride (which is a definite must in Cappadocia) and on our return we had a lovely breakfast on the outdoor verandah. We were later picked up from the hotel again for another tour of Cappadocia - the staff seemed well aware as to what guests are doing what tours. There is a swimming pool at this hotel and although we stayed 2 nights, we were sorry that we had not stayed an extra night to slow down the holiday pace a bit and relax at the hotel. This is a lovely hotel and we really enjoyed the cave hotel experience. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights in Gamirasu in Nov13. All the staffs from Reception to restaurant to housekeeping were very friendly. We requested for Jain vegetarian food & they provided our best food in Turkey. Even they gave good rooms to us, very beautiful. It was a wonderful experience to stay in a cave hotel. Highly recommended.
The only problem it is located 20-25 minutes from Cappadocia & located in an isolated place.

This hotel is an amazing find. It is a charming cave hotel which is indeed like being in your own home. The staff couldn't be more warm and loving. The breakfast is sumptuous. The dining room is warm and comfortable. Unfortunately we could not enjoy the pool or the outdoor terrace because of the time of year (November), but being in a cave hotel was enough to make up for that! Cappadocia is everything they say and more, a magical place. We are sure there are lovely other cave hotels, but Gamirasu is very special and we hope to go back some day. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so perfect.

Room Tip: If you have any kind of issues with stairs be sure to ask for something on an accessible level.

An experience that can never be forgotten!

We have inflexible taste, we are picky and don’t get impressed easily!

Stayed in tens of hotels in around 10 countries over the past 25 years, this little intimate home-like hotel had a lot to amaze and surprise us! From people to reception to room to cleanliness to food to laundry to pool & garden to transportation to privacy & peacefulness, this very unique place gave us for 3 nights a great experience that we really enjoyed!
