“A wonderful, unreal hotel”

What a great place in the midst of Cappadocia. We stayed 3 nights, there is a great restaurant in the hotel and the staff makes every effort to make you feel like it is your home. The breakfast was plentiful. It is an experience to stay in such a hotel.

Definitely the best cave hotels in town. Lovely service. The staff was amazing, specially EMRE. We were upgraded to lovely suites. The rooms had a Jacuzzi, Steambath & Sauna. The chef was amazing and also allowed my wife to enter the kitchen and teach her some simple local dishes. Overall excellent and highly recommended.

Just back from our world trip & one of our absolute highlights was staying at the Gamirasu Cave Hotel in Ayvali Village in Cappadocia. We just loved staying in a rock carved cave room which was so different from the normal hotel room. The history around us was awe inspiring. What really stood out for us was the amazing service provided by the wonderful staff led by Osmond. The staff showed a genuine desire to do everything possible to make our stay memorable - they succeeded. From the breakfast buffet to the evening dining experience you only had to think of something you needed & it was there!. Don't look past this Hotel - you will not be disappointed.

From our warm welcome, with a glass of wine by Emre, to every staff member, Kamil, Camil, Mehmet, and Burak, we were welcomed. Top service and warm hospitality was what we received from each one of the staff. Our room was quite unique and comfortable. Our stay at this cave hotel truly made our stay in Cappadoccia memorable. The breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this excellent cave hotel.

The rooms, breakfast, dinner were excellent in this hotel. You sleep in a cave but it is so comfortable that you will not miss your own room.
The hotel has a little chappel with frescos from hundreds of years ago that you have to visit.
We recommend it for sure!

Gamirasu is the name of an exquisitely restored 30 rooms cave house opened in 1999, in Ayvali Village near Urgup in the heart of Cappadocia, Turkey.
We had the pleasure of staying there for 3 nights this September. We were warmly welcomed on our arrival with a lovely glass of wine and were told all about the hotel and the history of its development.
They were extremely helpful in arranging our tours and balloon flight. Each "cave" is unique and beautifully appointed and ours with a spa bath and underfloor heating. The restaurant was of a high quality, with attentive, friendly service, which catered easily with my wife's gluten intolerant diet.
They were also able to arrange a special birthday cake for her.
A free shuttle is available to the nearest town of Urgup, about
15 minutes away.
We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit this amazing part of Turkey.

Some thing to watch though, as the hotel is some distance from the main centre make sure when on a large (25) group tour you are not first pick up. We spent 1/2 - 2 hours driving around picking up other clients not very pleasant. This was not the hotel's problem but they may be able to arrange a shuttle to meet the group at a convenient location.
