An unbelievable stay in such a stunning location. You are nestled in the most luxurious tents on a pecan and sheep farm. The sounds of nature surround you and the it does not get more tranquil than this.Wessel greeted us and gave us a tour, he also gave us a little tub of home grown pecans as a welcome gift, delicious! The property has ample space to walk and you walk in amongst the sheep camps - we were fortunate to see dozens of little lambs! There are facilities a plenty to cook and clean and the sun set views are to die for!The place was tidy and all the ablutions were very comfortable including the AWESOME outdoor showers!Thank you!

This place is like an oasis in the middle of a desert. Great facilities with immaculate toilets and novel showers. Electrical hookups and very welcoming and helpful owner/manager. The only downside is the 11km gravel road to get there which is not ideal with a caravan.

We stayed here for 4 nights. We were attending a conference at the nearby Mountain Zebra National Park. The Honeymoon tent we were in was beautifully appointed. The bed even had an electric blanket, which was essential as a cold front moved through while we were there. The only downside for us was using the shower, which was about 5 m from the tent. In the cold it was a little difficult getting back to the tent after a hot shower. I'm sure in the warmer months this is not a problem. The garden is a delight and we hope to go back one day when to 1000+ roses are in bloom. The little kitchen on the pond is well equipped and braii-ing in there was great. Wessel, the host was always helpful. And remember to order some of their lamb and boerewors for your braai. It is delicious and home grown . The pecan nuts are a treat

We stayed overnight in our caravan on the way to Port Elizabeth. Wessel was extremely accommodating and made us feel welcome on this working farm. It has tented accommodation as well as place for caravans to park. The site has a good ablution facility and outdoor gas heated showers that had nice hot water even though it was a cold morning. Beautiful farm environment with sheep and pecan nuts. Braai wood can be purchased. Great braai Boma area! Wessel organised us fresh Karoo Lamb chops and wors! I would go back to stay a bit longer!

After being on a motor cycle most of the day, we were a little hesitant of the idea of sleeping in a tent. Well - what a wonderful surprise! The enormous double bed was incredibly comfortable & the surrounds on the grounds were spectacular. The family that hosted us were very friendly & efficient. We had a wonderful self-catered braai which was greatly enjoyed by all. A truly amazing overnight stay - we awoke, well-refreshed & raring to continue our journey.
