A very nice hotel surrounded by birch Pine trees. The hotel is very close to Kanas national park.Hotel have modern facilities and is clean, interestingly Windows in all the rooms opens outward towards the sky, when you lie on your bed gazing the at sky. The only setback is that there lift to your room basically have carry your luggage up to your room or ask for bellboy to sent your luggage up just pay 10 yuan. The restaurant is behind the hotel about 3 mins walk which is on a slope,Food is okay don`t get much meat here but lots of vegetables around.i loved the environment very quiet and peaceful.

JiaDengYu is actually the entrance for Kanas National Park.

There is a small Mongolian tent village besides the commercial hotels and resort - styled accommodation.

You can opted to stay at Mongolian - tent at the village if you really want to overnight, but personally I think is unnecessary.

The village is starting point to the trekking trail to Hemu. There is an entrance fee to the trail, ¥60.

You can hire donkey to carry your luggage for trekking. The cost is about ¥260 per day per donkey, and the rider - about ¥300 per day. Many hikers carry their own backpacks. The trail is very pleasant, very little uphill/downhill. Arrangements can be made at the village.

The trekking trail is about 35km to Hemu.
We stayed 1 night halfway, a basic lodge run by a local. Pre-booking is required during peak season. Fee: ¥100 per pax/night. Food is expensive, tripled the standard price. Bring your own if you want to save.

To reach JiaDengYu, private car hire is most convenient. Public bus is available but limited schedule.

i stay here one night when follow the travelling package. the modern style hotels here are nice but expensive. it is suitable to those traveler who can't accept to the local stay. nothing much here, unable to view the galaxy due to lighting. not really recommend to traveler who like natural unless you are the traveler who can't live in the local wooden house.
Normally this is the median point for those traveller travel by horse or walking to stay one night before they continuous their adventure

We stayed 1 night in Jiadengyu Forest Park and find no reason to recommend it for anything. There are no opportunities to have a nice stroll around and you are even asked to stay away from the mountains because of wild animals. Wonder why it is called a park. Better go directly into the Kanas Lake nature reserve park and stay there. It is much more beautiful and you have direct access to the lake and nice trails.
