Description: The only cafe in Cushendun.

Gloomy interior lit with a strip light even when bright outside, heavy uncomfortable furniture, outside space with the view completely hidden even though Cushendun is very picturesque, unfriendly unhelpful slovenly staff - what is the matter with the owners? Have they never been to a decent cafe? They must be relying on the fact that this is the only cafe in Cushendun. I visited with a small party of family members from England and Australia (6 in all) to be rudely told that we couldn't put 2 tables together in order to sit together and we 'd have to sit in the draught from the door. As we'd had the nerve to query this we were then ignored and others were served before us. The menu was uninspiring and the attitude of the staff was the last straw. We left and will never go back. I recommend you take a picnic lunch when visiting Cushendun as there are some picnic tables by the beach with excellent views.
