I personally rate this as no. 1 beach surrounding Digha. We have reached Talsari by car and booked a motor cycle to reach sea coast and enjoyed a lot during our riding on the beach. Main attraction here are "Red Crabs". Talsari is situated 10kM away from New Digha.

What a sight . its like a red carpet spread on the golden beach.. You trying moving closer , the carpet keeps rolling back,,, cause the crabs vanish into their tiny holes.
Very clean beach with less crowd.

Talsari is a small delta...it is located close to both the Subarnarekha River and the Bay-of-Bengal. It is approx. 6 km from Digha, near the Orissa-WB border(Balasore Dist. in Orissa)The beach at Talsari is a lesser known one and the waters are calm and peaceful..People who love walking, the beach is paradise for them... silent.. close to the nature.. really a nice place! One can start walking from the beach to New digha Beach.Local Vans and Bikes are available for Hiring..

Talasari is famous for its red lobsters which come from Bay of Bengal...but i didn't watch a single one..

It is quite close to New Digha Beach almost an extension and I went there walking . The local vans and cabs charge a hell lot of money to and from Talseri but it is actually very close to New Digha and almost walkable distance. There are patches of casurina vegetation and that adds to the beauty of the beach. The long stretch of the beach has red crabs and one can spot different kinds of birds staying on those trees. I would definitely recommend it as a morning walk option from New Digha. You may enjoy tender coconut water on the beach.

It is similar to Udaipur beach, but there is a little background beauty due to a small jungle sort of...which had a scenic beauty from a distance....Cannot describe much as didnot spend much time in this place.
