for anyone that is going to meerut for business, weddings, other reasons - this is the best and only place you should stay in meerut. comfortable and modern rooms, wifi access, and most of all CLEAN. the food is absolutely fantastic. the best lemon coriander (among other dishes) i've ever had (and i've eaten at many 5 stars around india). the management is focused on making everyone's stay comfortable.

seriously, this hotel is a class apart and you would be surprised at the level of professionalism that exists for a non-metro town. rest assured you will be well taken care of if you stay here.

Room Tip: all rooms are good. rooms toward the garden are quieter. the suites are awesome and not much more than the rest of the rooms. worth the upgrade!

I stayed at Crystal Palace this weekend with my wife and 3 month old daughter! As per some local friends, its the best hotel to be in while in Meerut, because of its food quality, and the kind of people who you could see here. A lot of other, cheaper hotels have the kind of people who might not want to be around on weekends!

I am not sure why it has been filed under BnB on TripAdvisor though! Anyway...

1. Its very easy to locate... One has to reach Begum Bridge (very popular landmark in Meerut) and then take a turn towards Bijnaur/Brijghat/Kotdwar...About half a km ahead, you can see Crystal Palace on your right!

2. There is an ATM in the same building, which is a good help in case you need cash

3. Some popular markets are at a walking distance, specially the Chaat Bazaar for the people who love eating north Indian street food.... And Abu Lane as well...

4. Breakfast is included in the tariff which is a big plus.... Saves you a lot of time and effort... and the breakfast was decent too

5. I have heard, though did not experience myself, that the food quality is good at this hotel!

Now for a few things I did not really like...

6. The lift waiting area and a lot of other common areas at the hotel had a lot of cigarette smell... It was irritating

7. The room was handed over without some basics like soap in the bathroom... I had to ask for it! Also the hand towels were way nicer than the chemically treated bath towels. Bedding and linen was clean and comfortable though

8. I paid Rs. 3500+ for a night's stay at the hotel. I personally do not think its anywhere near worth it. I have stayed in much better hotels at tourist destinations for cheaper than this... I am not really sure what would drive the tariff so high!

Room Tip: All the rooms face the front road and are equally good! In peak hours, it could get noisy though because of the heavy traffic on the road in the front!

like i said, apparently, the only livable hotel @ Meerut! the location is pretty good, the hotel is newly made hence the neatness and the interiors and finesse is pretty good, never expected to have something like this in meerut to be honest. The rooms are good too, the restaurant and the bar are pretty impressive, the quality of food is good too, however, the service is a little slow though. would not be fair to compare it with any hotel in a metro or tier 2 city though. but on a standalone basis, it stands pretty tall. for a city like meerut, this is really a monument if you ask me. highly recommended.

after having a scary experience in Harmony inn ... i had to shift and found this place ... good staff , doesn't feel like any Hotel of Meerut. The rooms are good , the hotel has Classy interiors and has good esthetics ... the food is amazing , service is efficient and quick ... they have the most beautiful BAR with impressive selection for a place like meerut , restaurant is nice... own car parking ... overall professional and experienced Hotel...
Location is the best , centrally located and near to all markets and business centers of this small town...

Room Tip: top floor rooms have a better view ... super deluxe rooms very nice and big

Hotel is located very close to the famous Abu lane of Meerut. The area is slightly croaded but the hotel ahs its own parking. Rooms are functional and comfortable. The cleanliness could have been better. The Toliet tub and wash basin could be maintained well.
The resturant is good and serves tasty food. The room service is prompt and good.
Meerut is famous for a sweet called "Gazak". The Abu lane is famous for shopping and you will get good bargains when compared to Delhi.

The Hotel has a bar also. The distance of the Bus stand is 1 km and the railway station is 4 kms.

Room Tip: Rooms on the second floor are good and have a good view of street in front
