“A beautiful beach resort”

The prupose was a get together with good old friends and the place GRT temple bay. It couldn't have been better than this. The smell of the sea and the mesmerising sound of the violent waves makes the place a bet for one who really looks to unwind oneself from the hussles of the city life.

The spacious rooms and the well mannered staff are additional points that makes one love it.

Family Trip. Went there with husband and my two sons. Stayed at temple bay after our pilgrimage. Beautiful place, the scenic is breathtaking. We were only supposed to stay there for one night but decided to extend our stay another day.
All the staff were very friendly and helpfull. My kids and hub loves this place. The Pools were great , The restaurants served good variety of grilled seafood by the beach but the price was quite expensive.
We throughly enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to go there again.

I spent two nights in this not perfect hotel, but nice anyway. Very good location, nice gardens, fabulous infinity pool, superb seafood restaurant. One critic : poor lightning making reading in bed not so great, but otherwise nice big room, balcony with sea view, comfortable bed, plenty of space to leave suitcase open, and last but not least in the heart of everything to see. I stayed in a chalet.

We had our annual meet here and it was one of the pleasant stays i have experienced. The rooms were spacious and its was CLEAN thank heavens. They don't have a bath tub which was little disappointing as I love lazing in it.

The B/F buffet has a good spread and taste is quite delicious. Try their restaurant though tad expensive, they are very good. The ayurvedic massage center is one of the best. It so happened actor Ajith was there and had a nice chit chat with him. Looks like he is a regular there.

My only sore point is, they should have had lots of beach activities like Catamaran rides etc which would have been fun.

All in all, a wonderful experience.

Good place to stroll around, there's also a mini gold course behind the car park. Villa 1 does not have an open air shower (which the other villas do) but is closest to the breakfast area. Villa 4 onwards (4, 5 etc) are closest to the sea, though entry to the beach is restricted as the sea has been getting closer over the years. Don't miss the seafront restaurant, it seemed like Goa at night. Check-in was tardy, our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 4pm. The front office was happy to talk their way out of the situation. Visited the dance festival at Arjuna's Penance - awesome! Its about 5 mins by car.

I have been to this hotel in the past for the excellent seaside grill restaurant. But my recent visit there was a major disappointment. The hotel has begun to rent out the gardens for events. The result is that loud music and the accompanying announcements are blasted on loudspeakers. One can no longer hear the gulls and the waves, which are absolutely lovely and just a few feet from this hotel.
Another problem to some people may be that even though this is a 5-star hotel, the bartender has no idea how to mix drinks. A request for a very dry Martini yielded a super-sweet drink that tasted like 7-Up mixed with a small amount of alcohol!!

I will no longer be visiting this hotel

Stayed here after a busy day of sightseeing. The sea breezes gently lulled us on our porch with two rocking chairs. The grounds are lovely and the room had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.We enjoyed the food and wished we good stay longer.
