Our tour of north-east included kolkota, gangtok, pelling of which a travel to sikking was the most adventurous and enjoying. After Kolkota tour we travelled to Gangtok where stayed at Keepsa residency an excellent hotel in Sikkim and had a sight seeing at Nathula Pass, Psongpo Lake... We stayed at Norbu Ghang Resort, Pelling for 05Sep13(1night) and 06Sep13(1day). The hospitality provided by the hotel overwhelming. The food, accommodation, rooms, service, cleanliness, location and ambience, behaviour of the employees were excellent. The sight seeing arranged by the hotel is also laudable. In the morning one can see Mt. Khangchendzonga, Khangchendzonga water falls etc.

I would suggest traveller - businees, couples, family and friends to add Pelling on their trip which is a must place to visit in Sikking.

Room Tip: The room facing the hill view is excellent.

A hospitable experience and a lasting memory. This resort is truly the best in Pelling, with all rooms offering a splendid view of the snow capped Kanchenjunga. With various category of rooms the resort caters to the luxurious traveller and to the ones seeking value for money. Tastefully decorated all rooms are furnished with fine linen, a kettle with sachets of tea & coffee and other handful amenities. This is the only resort in Pelling offering star spa facilities which was to commence in few months.

We spent the evening with the resorts GM mr. Bishwaraj Lama, an excellent host who has immense knowledge on the history of Sikkim, the people and its communities. He was very informative, well read, knowledgable and has a good sense of humour .... making our trip a lasting memory.

Excellent service, helpful & courteous staff, hygienic & delicious food compared to other restaurants in the locale, the old section of the resort offers a colonial experience with wooden floors and a well maintained garden.

we reached pelling late around 9 in te night...since it ws raining heavily we chose te lower rooms n not the cottages.a big mistake....as these were very below average rooms comparable to low cost lodges with insects in te batrooms...food ws pretty decent ...nothing much to write about..if u got a better choice u cn gv this resort a skip....

We stayed for three nights in May and it was worth it. There is no need to move around the town looking for amenities. The hotel has it all, esp. the resort ambiance it offers, with best views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and its exotic flora and fauna. You must enjoy the sound of crickets at night and pristine beauty of snow capped peaks at dawn from the comfort of the wood furnished rooms. Service was excellent, with best qualities of mouth savoring platters that the resort offered; quite unexpected considering its remote location. Cant wait to visit again.

Room Tip: Every room has mountain view. The more higher up the hill you stay the better the view gets. Area near the spa offers best photo locations.

Visited Pelling for the first time and stayed at this property. Unique experience with an exotic view of the Kanchenjunga range of mountains. Wooden flooring with a fireplace adds to the wonderful experience of a colonial stay in the cold weather. The staff is extremely courteous and accommodating. Loved the Sikkimese dinner served by the staff. The surrounding fauna adds to the peaceful aura of the place. Destinations nearby are worth visiting especially the waterfalls and the Monasteries. All in all loved the visit but would request the staff to provide hot water for the guests who are not accustomed to these extreme conditions. The staff lacks on that and ruins the excitement in the morning itself.

Room Tip: Make sure they provide hot water as the weather is extremely chilly even in May
