Was travelling thru Salem and decided on a quick stop over.It is located on the Bangalore highway, so very easy to find.
The property is ideally priced, with good modern rooms. Staff was helpful. breakfast buffet was decent.
Will def stay here again

We were driving via Salem and planned to stop-over and checked in to GRT Grand Estancia. It was amazing and we thorougly enjoyed our stay. It is a great place to relax and refresh. The welcoming at the reception was wonderful, with a chill welcome drink and we did feel that we were in the best place right at the time of check/in itself. Also it has good dining options which were wonderfully explained to us by the reception staff. Would recommend any traveller visiting Salem to go for GRT Grand Estancia and you would feel the comforts. The rooms had wonderful view of the hills.

Room Tip: Choose for the Executive rooms and you would get an amazing view of the hills.

I was in Salem for a work trip last week and it was a great hotel to stay in. The rooms were clean, modern and newly furbished and the staff were very helpful. Great breakfast bouffet and dinner menu as well.

We stayed in March 2013 for two days. We are both nonsmokers and had booked (and were confirmed!) a nonsmoking room with a king size bed in advance. Upon arrival, the room which was offered to us was a smoking room that smelled of smoke all over. We therefore requested another non-smoking room like we had booked. First the staff at the reception desk said that it was not possible, the only other room they could offer us was a non smoking room with two seperate beds. After we complained that we had booked and were confirmed otherwise, they suddenly said they have another room. The other room they then offered to us was on the same floor and simply another smoking room. We were really angry that they showed so much disrespect towards their customers. We then went for lunch and told them that we want another room according to our reservation in the meantime (they never offered an apology or a free lunch for any of the inconveniences). They gave us another room, but we had to wait even after lunch for some more time. Before we entered the new room three people came suddenly out of that room, smiling weirdly. We then noticed that they had sprayed the room all over with a cheap toilet spray (we saw one guy coming out with that spray and then trying to hide it behind his back). I cant even believe what kind of service that is. We ordered the two welcoming juices up to the room, but they never came. We then ordered a tea instead. The shower in the room wasnt a hot shower at all, but only cold. The internet sadly lived up to the reputation of the hotel's service thus far : slow, inconsistent and completely undependable. If you have to work in this hotel, it would not be a place that we can recommend. The chairs in the room showed what seemed to be mold spots. The pool view from our looked inviting. We were so excited that at least there would be some reprieve. Only on placing our feet in the water, did we understand why there was no one else wanting to share this paradise. It was freezing cold!!!!
The restaurant was okay, but the price was rather high for the quality and selection offered. When we departed the hotel, nobody asked us for feedback, because they obviously didnt want to get any from us. We can definitely not recommend this hotel and we were very very disappointed about the poor service.

The hotel was good for a short visit, had good service and decent ambiance. The staff were hospitable and efficient. The service was very quick and location very close to the main market area.

Let me first apologize for the late review. It's been an year since I have been there. The rooms were neat and comfortable. They provided all the facilities including wifi and a swimming pool to relax. Both my parent's Birthday (same day) happened to be on that day and the chef prepared a delicious cake for us to celebrate. All in all, a great experience.

Had been to Salem for some official work and stayed in this hotel. Got a good deal from Yatra for this. A very good place to stay. Breakfast was a lavish spread and tasted superb.

The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. Bathrooms are very clean.

Room service was very good. The view from the back side overlooks the pool and the mountain. Would recommend this to all. The front side overlooks the road. Not bad if you like to look at the highway.

Location is very good though a bit away from the bus stand.

They provided a complementary drop to the bus stand. A very nice gesture.

Definitely recommend to one and all.

Room Tip: The back side rooms overlook the mountains which is a nice view
