It was the birthday of my dad and we along with extended family (20 of us) went to this haveli to celebrate from Delhi – stayed for a night. As we had 8 rooms booked of the “non-hotel hotel” – it almost felt as if we own the haveli. Had a great time due to the hospitable service of the staff, clean rooms, good food and overall look and feel of the place. The meals were served on time and with a lot of affection. The evening entertainment would be something that can be enjoyed by foreigners – not Indians like us who have been exposed to Rajasthani music time and again. The staff was extremely sweet to put up a spectacular surprise birthday treat for our dad by organizing a cake and fireworks. Overall – I will definitely recommend this place to people travelling to Mandawa.

Room Tip: The 2nd floor rooms have water heated by solar panels - it is extremely hot and very refreshing.

We stayed in this beautifully maintained haveli for 2 nights whilst on tour with Intrepid. We were blown away by the beautiful rooms in this very old hotel located right in the heart of town. The rooftop restaurant was great and the entertainment (local musicians and dancers) put on at dinner time was enjoyed by all. This was a great place to get away from the hussle and bustle of Indias' big cities whilst enjoying a very beautiful town. The staff were helpful and attentive.

This hotel was a blessing after the Grand Haveli in the neighbouring town.
The owner was on site and the staff attentive. One was too attentive, which became very annoying.
The room was fine and as it was cold the staff ensured we had extra blankets and a fire in the courtyard, which made the experience very welcoming. Our hot water was on the blink, and they made sure I could use another room's clean bathroom. Made a nice change from the Grand Haveli, where they just shrugged.
Food okay.

Room Tip: Do bargain! It worked for me. I got taxes and breakfasts included. Ask for the room on the ground floor in the far right hand corner.

The most authentic stay for us in a haveli and a highlight of our Rajasthan tour. A great place to relax, hangout and take a break from our fast paced lifestyles - no TV, no distraction. The decor is fantastic with great attention to detail and accessories. The library is unique and multi-lingual. Breakfast spread and dinner on rooftop were very good albeit expensive. An ideal place to stay and explore museums and other havelis in surrounding villages. Wish they had provided tea/coffee maker to enhance the experience further. Stayed here on Christmas Eve - wish could stay longer.

Room Tip: The rooms at both ends on the topmost floor are fabulous

Staff: not much to say, there wasn't any...
Room: clean room, hot water, confortable beds, clean bathroom
Restaurant: bad food, very expensive (for india), average service,
Location: in the city (though very small city)
General impression: magnificent hotel, would go back, but only to sleep and hangout
