We went to this resort in first week of January .It was a family trip for two nights.we booked this resort on phone and paid some advance money in their account.we took the route via rewari-Narnaul-Chirawa-Jhunjunu. via NH8. Most of the road is good except at few places between Rewari and Chirawa for 10-15 Kms its pretty bad with big potholes. It took us 6 hrs to reach there.
But after reaching the resort we forgot all our troubles as the property is superb !! Very neat and clean...very delicately built with lot of thoughts by its designer.
we stayed in Cottages .It has got beautiful interior all made in ethnic style but the bathrooms are modern with expensive interior n fittings. The size of bathroom is too big and its made really differently from normal.having bath tub and separate area for shower.
ABOVE ALL WE LIKE THE HOPITALITY OF THE STAFF WHICH IS UNMATCHED AND YOU WONT FIND IT EVEN IN 5 STAR PROPERTIES.Our special thanks to SH. KRISHAN SINGH JI (manager) who made our trip memorable and we are looking forward to our next visit again.
Food was excellent and upto the mark.No complaints. For kids they have TT table, camel ride ,horse ride etc.they have around 15 horses in their stable and dairy farm with few cows. They can have few more games like carrom /library/fitness center etc so that kids can.also have good time as there is no TV in the rooms !
Jaipur is 160 kms from there and the road is excellent..3 hours drive.

The place has charm and each room is different and unique - design and style were great. Service-wise thou, it needs quite a lot to get better! Not really friendly, you wait and wait for everything (yes, I know we are in India but still)... We had to have early breakfast and they started preparing when we were about to leave; dinner - slow and unfriendly service. Out room was not made - apparently we forgot to leave the key; they did not want to set the fire in one of the yards; when we ordered tea in the garden, again the service was miserable; often you ask for one and the same thing many times.
Winter time rooms are cold but you can get a heater although people complained from the massage. Location is OK - out of the town thou.

We stayed here for a couple of days to ring in the new year. We were a fairly large group and got pretty good service. The resort itself is very well made with spacious rooms and clean bathrooms. The service staff definitely felt a bit over whelmed due to the new year party and more than usual number of guests. Food had its ups and downs. Lunch on arrival was pathetic but subsequently improved. Overall a good place to chill with friends.

Was there for a weekend full of music.. Nice and comfortable room, clean, big bathrooms and seating area in front of the room. Old world Chevrolet which doubles as a bar is an interesting concept.. The bajre ki roti that they served with gud was simply heavenly..

Overall a Nice weekend getaway ,,, Relaxing

Room Tip: Choose rooms on the ground floor and near the pool,, avoid main reception area rooms

This was our second visit to this place. Last time we were sightseeing the area, this time we mostly relaxed at the resort. The pool has just been renovated and is quite nice. The snack menu was nice and you should really try the Mango Lassi. We had great service.
We stayed in one of the detached suites which is a mud hut decorated with local paintings which is why we came again in the first place. We really loved our room (Suite #3), with a nice bathroom area and great design. That being said we also saw a few other rooms which were more in keeping with the shekhawati haveli style which were also really nice - I just have a thing for mud...
Be ware that I made the reservation through Agoda this time, paid for and everything but they actually knew nothing about my reservation when we came - so make sure you call in before you come to avoid problems. My one complaint would be that they tried to give me a cheaper room which was not a suite, had I not been there before and known specifically what I ordered they may have gotten away with it which would be the only real NEGATIVE - granted they let me choose my room after I called them on it - but it did leave a bit of a bitter taste.
Breakfast is pretty good - if there is no group the day before than there is no buffet. Make sure you ask the waiters for whatever you want; Fruit, Juice, Omelette, cornflakes etc...They won't always offer but it's all available and they will prepare it with a smile.
Dinner on Ala Carte menu for Indian dishes is NOT so good. If you're here for one night try to go out to the Castle Mandawa for dinner - food there is great.

Room Tip: If you like the traditional mud and drawing style go for the suites. They are nice. Try #3 and #4...

Although I am too much in love with Rajasthan culture, & would love to explore every possible nook & corner of the desert state,I was a bit skeptical visiting this unknown small town in Shekhawati region. A friend agreed to accompany & the area was never even heard of, searched entirely on net.
But once I reached this resort, my joy knew no bounds & I was dancing like anything. Everyone of us loved this place so much that our 2 day stay seemed just 2 mins.
Built entirely in village style with all facilities this is a must must visit place.
I was so impressed that I got the same wall arts done in my home from karigars of rajasthan & changed the interiors accordingly. Old havelis are a must watch. Would love to return one dqy
