We stayed here for 1 night in Sep '12. The point of the trip was to visit the Kaas plateau for flower watching & for that purpose, this hotel is very conveniently located.

Cons:
It was not very clean. The blankets given were stinking very badly. The bathroom was dirty:
was not cleaned in who-knows-how-much-time. There were dead moths littered on the whole bathroom floor. Cobwebs everywhere.

Pros:
1. The location is excellent with very good views of Satara town.
2. All the basics are in place: hot water, bright tiled flooring, great balconey facing the valley.
3. The food is quite good (we're vegetarians & the simple rotis & vegetables were served hot)

We had been here for our wedding anniversary. The hotel was well equipped to specially decorate our room to make the occassion extra special. The location is excellent accompanied by good food & service. Site seeing like Kaas Pathar and Bamnoli lake, Forts, Temples is good. We travelled in Nov-2012 but my suggestion would be to travel in September to enjoy to the fullest. A excelent location for 3 day trip. I suggest to travel with your own means of transport to cover maximum places to visit.

Cheers!!

Room Tip: excellent rooms with Valley View

Happened to stay in this small but beautifully located place on the Satara Kaas road - Great views from all the rooms and restaurant. Rooms are basic and small so I guess they are charging for the views - Service is good and the owner is a friendly and knowledgeable gentleman. Could do with better housekeeping however !

Room Tip: Go for the 2nd floor rooms but mind you there is no lift.

Well I had traveled to Satara during the blooming season of flowers. Even being a very busy season, the management took a good care of me. I reached 6 hours before check in, I was not charged extra for that, instead they told me to be comfortable in the reception area. Being a solo woman traveler, and reaching at wee hours, made it unsafe to travel. The manager himself came to pick me up and drop off. He actually stood with me till I alighted the bus back home. The staff is warm and friendly. The location is superb, The food was good. The rooms are new, hence some cleaning would be required, but overall I would give thumbs up to this hotel.

A cosy little resort in a lovely situation. Each room overlooks the valley with the town of Satara nestled in the valley & looks lovely when the town lights up in the night.one can see the sunrise while lying in bed.Centrally located to go to Kas Plateau,Kas Lake,Bamnoli for boating on one side & to go to Thoseghar Falls as well as Sajjangad on the other side

Room Tip: All rooms face the valley & the view is fabulous
