I stayed at the Haghartsin Hotel three days/two nights for a company meeting and don't know what they paid for lodging and meals.
This a popular locations for wedding and family celebrations.
They have an excellent restaurant that serves tasty Armenian dishes family style. This may be their best feature. There are a number of outside and small deprecate dinning rooms that would have been a wonderful spot for a meal if the weather was warmer.
The rooms were spotless and comfortable - decent king size bed, shower with abundant hot water.
The conference room is long, narrow and 90% of the space is taken by a large conf table - not set up well for break out groups. It has an adjacent break room and they enjoyed the pastries served during the breaks.
The hotel internet didn't work and no one could get usable internet service from their own internet service. For us this was a big problem but your group might think this a plus. Stay at the Best Western down the road if you need dependable internet service
Some things to consider. As I mentioned this is a hotel/restaurant that caters to Armenians. They had one staff that could you could talk to but he was only there some of the town. They only turn on the heating systems to the rooms at night and turn them off early in the morning. My room hadn't been used for a while and it was cold as a tomb - never got heat long enough to get it to a comfortable temp. Finally, the TV didn't work - not a problem for me but if you need a daily fix on news and weather you're out of luck.
