We had been to the gallery twice before in May andJuly and were . Looking forward to visiting the gallery and were sad to find it was closed We went to the shop opposite for a look around--------Also a great shop It sells everything from furniture to paint and screws!!!! They told us it had closed and th he owners were concentrating on their different crafts(Jewellry making and Photography) It's a shame and hopefully it may 're-open with new owners in the future!!

I have visited here a few times and have always seen some lovely pieces. It is bright and modern and the staff are friendly and don't mind how long you browse for. The parking is by disc and they are free from various places.

A gem of a find discovered accidentally. I have visited many galleries worldwide and am impressed with the variety and layout offered in a small town in the Scottish borders. I will be making repeat visits!

We came across the shop whilst walking through the town. It had some very interesting and beautiful items for sale. It's lovely to see such crafty and unusual items, although many were rather expensive.

Hi Kirsty C and thank you for your review. We are glad you liked the gallery and appreciated the many beautiful and unusual things our artists and makers create, here in the UK. All of the pieces on show in the gallery are created by hand and whilst some pieces are undoubtedly quite expensive, they reflect the skill, time and work that has gone into them. Prices in the gallery range from just a few pounds to several thousand pounds. We hand pick our artists and makers based on the quality and originality of their work and believe that original art and craft offers unbeatable value for money. Thank you for visiting Cut the Mustard and hope to see you again soon.

We visit this gallery any time we are in Langholm. Often the artists are there and will talkabout their work. Items for sale include jewellery, scarves, pottery and art photography. All are individual and impressive. Definitely worth a visit.

A lovely light and welcoming Gallery found by accident when drivng from Edinburgh back to South Wales.

The owners were very welcoming and I had a great cup of coffee during our visit. The art on display was of good quality and varied which will appeal to many people and it was pleasing to find something open on a Sunday to visit whilst having a rest break from travelling.

Look forward to coming back for another visit on our return to Edinburgh in September.

Many thanks again for the coffee!

Well, if you're driving north over the border in Scotland and you go through Langholm and you have time for a short stop then Langholm would be good. Fill up with gas, have a coffee in the little cafe near the Edinburg Woolen Mill shop and then go see The Mustqrd Gallery. A lovely art gallery with lovely paintings from some of the norths best. Nice jewelry, cards, etc. I bought a gorgeous purse made by someone who designs and makes them from scraps of wool. Sounds awful but it's lovely.

You won't want to stop long in Langholm but if you're driving through and need to spend money this is a good place!

A light airy gallery with charm and even a few nooks and crannies. Some beautiful crafty things amongst fabulous painting. Everything seemed to be original and local artists. I will have to save up and come back for one of the Ann Butler paintings, they were fabulous.

The new gallery is an absolute triumph. It is so light and airy, ideal for perusing the wonderful work on show. Lisa and Barry are friendly and welcoming, and chatty, but they do leave visitors to take in the whole experience too.
If coming to Langholm or just passing through stop a while at the Mustard Gallery, you will be glad you did.
