If you´re looking for the perfect place to stay... Search no more!!
Simply the best and cheapest place on Aruba! Peter & Julie who runs the place made me
feel so special, nothing was to much trouble.
I loved the location, a short drive/busride from the airport to Savaneta, but truly NO noise.
If you want to relax, that's the place to go.
Tried different rooms during my visit...They are all equipped with all the basics you
need, such as fridge, safes etc and most of them also have a small
kitchen. There´s a few resturants nearby and also the local bar
"Zee Rovers", where you can watch the fishermen and eat their catch of the day.
Simply a perfect Aruba holiday.
Give it a try!!!!!

I meant to write this review a long time ago, but it slipped my mind. My boyfriend and I stayed at Coral Reef during the week of Sept 11-18th. We absolutely loved it. Regretfully, we first stayed a few days on the corporate side of the island. Although that hotel was nice, I didn't really and truly relax until we reached Coral Reef . Peter and Julie are so warm and friendly. They even invited us to join their Friday night cookout. They also made sure to let us know about the great local spots and a festival that was going on. The place has such a great energy and cozy vibe. I felt like we had arrived at a friends' house, rather than a business. It's the kind of atmosphere that fosters interaction between guests, which I always enjoy when I visit a new place. It's not overly luxurious(if that's what you seek), but it's very clean and is charmingly unique with character. We definitely recommend it. We enjoyed snorkeling out to the reef and just really, really enjoyed being away from the tourist trap side of the island.

I stayed at the Hyatt for 5 days before coming to Coral Reef Beach. They charged an arm and a leg for everything, and everyone there pretty much kept to themselves. Coral Reef Beach on the other hand was extremely reasonable, the owners were extremely hospitable, and the other guests were great to hang out with during the remainder of my trip. I would take this place over any high rise hotel!

The last day I was there, all the other guests and myself bought freshly caught fish and shrimp from the restaurant down the street, we cooked together, and then had a delicious dinner together. It only costed us about $4 american each...it would have costed $70 american each at the Hyatt, and it wouldn't have been as good.

Basically, I would definitely come back again!

Room Tip: Any room is great. Some have a kitchen and some you share one...either is great!

Our 7 day stay in the treehouse at Coral Reef was perfect! Peter and Julie were friendly and hospitable, but not at all intrusive. The treehouse and the entire property were charming, with a real "island feel". Great swimming and snorkeling, privacy, new friends, great hosts. Could not have been more pleased. We will always stay here, away from the tourist area, when we visit Aruba again!

Peter, Julie, Jack, Ralphie and Douglas were wonderful hosts. There was not one thing I would have changed. Eddie and the staff were just as wonderful. The location was at the opposite end of the island from the high rise hotels which means lots less travelers. The view was great and loved the room, we rolled our bed outside and slept in the night air, was a unique experience. We would HIGHLY reccommend the Coral Reef for your stay. Just wow is all we have to say...Thanks Coral Reef.....

The owners, Julie and Peter, were fantastic. They met us at the airport and then drove us to a supermarket to pick up a few things and took us on a tour of the local area with recommendations on where to eat cheap and the best snorkel spots. They arranged a rental car for us as well as a snorkel sail. They were always helpful. It's a small place with 7 units, and a private dock and beach. All of the other guests become your instant friends. We were on our honeymoon and felt that we could be as social or reclusive as we wanted.

Room Tip: Ask Peter & Julie
