To celebrate Moe's retirement after 35 years of teaching, we took a family vacation to Club Arias. It was one of the best vacations of our lives.
Our accomodations were immaculate and spacious. We enjoyed daily breakfast, some lunches and dinners prepared by Chef Gabriel on location. The knowledgable owners also recommended inexpensive local cuisine. We also went to the pool bar for Happy Hour everyday! We looked forward to the late night hang outs with the other guests in the patio area. Baby Beach, a famous tourist attraction is a short drive from the Club. One of the other highlights of the week was the rhino tour personally escorted by Arias all over the island- AMAZING!
We cannot express enough the wonderful family experience of the island and Club Arias. Look forward to returning to the island and staying at this location.

I have been to Aruba over 30 times and on many tours as I introduce my new friend to Aruba. This was the best and I learned so much.Arias was a wonderful guide who truly cared about every person in the party. When he took us to the Natural pool I really wanted to get into it but was scared of the rock climbing. He made sure I get in and enjoyed the most beautiful snorkeling . The jeep we were in was so comfortable all the mountains we climbed were not a problem. He even packed us a lunch and plenty of waters. At the end of most tours your just dropped off that's it. He invited us back to see his beautiful hotel and to swim. It was a very amazing place and I will be sure to go there next trip and bring others. Thank s for a new memory.

Room Tip: So memorable!

We have always been on the hotel side of the island and we heard from others that if you really wanted to discover Aruba we had to see Club Arias. We spent a day with Arias being shown the most beautiful sites and sounds of Aruba! Arias ensured us this would be the best day in Aruba ever and he exceeded those expectations. Everything was so much fun and so well planned. We had a blast on cruising around in the most comfortable 4 wheeler ever. Snorkeling in natural pools that those who stay on the hotel side will probably never ever see, to swimming on private beaches and even flying kites!. I'm 63 years old and Arias made me feel like I was 21 again! the next time you are in Aruba consider spending either a day at Club Arias for a taste of what Aruba can be or even book your getaway to stay there. If you want to thoroughly enjoy a memorable fun and romantic time in Aruba then go Club Arias.

Room Tip: for a really fun and romantic time then go Club Arias. If you are looking for boring hotel/timeshare...

My wife and I spent 2 nights here on our honeymoon.....it was so relaxing. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and had a week book thru my timeshare but wanted to spend a couple of extra days in Aruba. We spent our first 2 nights with Arias at Club Arias and were extremely satisfied...we even rented our car thru him........Awesome plase and awesome host....Club Arias also does a sunrise tour that is well worth the money you pay. Thanks Arias and hope to see you again sometime soon!

After spending a week at a timeshare at the Occidental last year, we decided that would be the last time! We found Club Arias online last year and stayed for two nights prior to the timeshare week at the Occidental. This year, our 6th visit to Aruba, we stayed the entire 9 nights at Club Arias and can't wait to return next year. We previously stayed at Costa Linda, Playa Linda, Aruba Beach Club, and the Divi Golf and Beach Resort and the Occidental (all inclusive). If you are looking for nightlife, fancy restaurants and 24 hour service and the crowds that go with that - stay on the other side of the island. Yes, they are located on the SouthEast end of the island and you have to drive 5 minutes to a beach but it is well worth the little extra effort to be able to frequent Baby Beach, Rogers Beach, and Mangel Halto!! Club Arias is run by Arias and Flory Schwarz and their friendly staff. They treat you like family and will go out of their way to make sure you have what you need.
My favorite is Rodgers Beach - around the corner (to the right) of Baby Beach. Club Arias offer car rentals at a GREAT rate, so you'll have the freedom to explore. Other attractions that originate from the Club Arias property are: Aruba Sunrise Tours and Aruba Bob Snorkeling. For Diving, Jads @ Baby beach is the way to go. Local Eateries with wonderful food and lower prices: La Granja, Cafe (right near Club Arias), House of cakes has great meat pies and spring rolls, Rum Reef bar and Grille (@ baby beach), Zeerover (on the Beach). Other local restaurants, but a little more pricey are Flying Fishbone and Old Man and the Sea.
Looking forward to next years trip!!
Also, the best wings and pizza on the island are to be found at G&G Pizza, right on the Club Arias property!

Last year, we stayed at Club Arias a few days before our timeshare at the Occidental. That was the first time we met Arias and his family. This year, our 6th visit to Aruba, we stayed the entire 9 days at Club Arias and can't wait to return next year. We previously stayed at Costa Linda, Playa Linda, Aruba Beach Club, and the Divi Golf and Beach Resort. If you are looking for nightlife, fancy restaurants and 24 hour service and the crowds that go with that - do not stay at Club Arias. Yes, they are located on the other end of the island and you have to drive 5 minutes to a beach but I have just returned from one of the best vacations I've ever had. Last year I was uncertain about Club Arias at first because of the location but I quickly changed my mind. Our suite included a very comfortable bed with the softest sheets I've ever slept in. Club Arias is run by Arias and Flory Schwarz and their friendly staff. They treat you like family and will go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. The room includes use of a cooler, beach chairs and towels along with directions to some of the best beaches in the world. Mangel Halto offers great snorkeling right off the mangrove- laden shore. Boca Grandi offers world class kite boarding ( or watching) and the world famous, Baby Beach is nearby. But - my favorite is Rodgers Beach - to the right of Baby Beach. We had a great beach vacation and saw some of the most beautiful, turquoise water with white sandy beaches in the world. Rent a car from Club Arias and you'll have the freedom to explore. Write me if you have questions. Club Arias is not 5 star fancy but it is 5 star great for a relaxing, clean, casual stay. You never have crowds or fight over a chair at the pool. You do visit the local grocery, stock up on your lunch and snack favorites and decide if you want to go to the beach, to the pool, go snorkeling with Aruba Bob, go kite-surfing, take the Aruba Sunrise Tour, go diving...or just read a book. Isn't that what a vacation is for?

Room Tip: Ask Arias as there are several room types available.

My daughter spent part of her honeymoon at Club Arias. We all took a tour through. What a unique hotel. We all loved it. Very private. They have a phone in the dining hall that allows you to make free calls to the states. No phones in rooms but that helps give you privacy. Two pools plus a hot tub. You'll need a car rental as it's off the beaten path. Gabriel is the chef. You must try his chicken wings, they're almost worth the trip alone. Arias took us on a tour. Such an interesting place. He's gone to great lengths to make you comfortable with wonderful bed linens, netting around the bed, even a private outdoor shower if you prefer it to the shower in your room. We're adding Club Arias to our vacation stays.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Welcome to our Club Arias Bed & Breakfast. My name is Arias Schwarz and own a bed and breakfast in Savaneta, Aruba with my wife, Flory. We first discovered the enchanting island of Aruba 20 years ago, and we were so taken with the island that we made it our annual vacation destination. On one vacation, we ventured to the southern part of the island and found Savaneta. Within Savaneta we found many treasured jewels, which included the culture and real beauty of Aruba. The beaches on the resort side paled in comparison to the beaches we found in Savaneta. The cuisine was mouth watering, welcoming and very affordable. And the people bore the true heart of the island. Savaneta was such a positive experience for both of us that we were inspired to create Club Arias Bed & Breakfast to share our new world. We want our guests to know all of the island's beauty and take in all of its charm, and we always strive to make it as affordable as possible. Our mission is to give our visitors a personable vacation that cannot be obtained from the typical hotel resorts. Our haven is a family run business. Our two daughters have a real passion for our business, and you will see them from time-to-time greeting our guests upon arrival or wishing them well upon departure. When you visit us, we want you to feel like you are part of our family and we hope to engage you with our love for this island and our love for its people. ... more   less
