The View of the sunset at this out of the way place is incredible. It was a long cab ride from Palm Beach but worth the trip. The food is A Plus too. Every meal was great. Also, Have the Sangria and enjoy

“Beautiful view, Food could improve”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2013

We went to Flying Fishbone on my birthday, and the setting could not be better. Very romantic, seaside view - tables scattered in the sandy beach, lit by candles with the sound of the sea in the background. Sadly, the food wasn't able to compete. As with most food in Aruba, we found the meals (catch of day & lobster tail/ shrimp on skewer) over-salted and somewhat too tough. Not worth the cost, but could be improved if the chef/ kitchen incorporated herbs instead of salt as the main flavor enhancer. The wine list is impressive and the desserts looked lovely, but after the main course - we decided to leave.

“Special and lovely”

My BF and I went here on our last night in Aruba and it was such a joy. We had a table right up front at the ocean, with nothing between us and the picturesque sunset. Get a table at 5/5:30 pm to avoid the rush and make sure to get a front row seat. Our feet were in the sand. The tide didn't quite make it to our table but a lot of times you can eat with your feet in the water. Our server, Apple, was very attentive and recommended great dishes. We each had an appetizer (the goat cheese appetizer is terrific) and our entrees, dessert and drinks were really top-notch. If you visit Aruba, you must spend an evening here. The cab ride from downtown is about $30 one way but it is really worth it to go out of your way off the beaten path.

Service was very slow. Food was ok and there were a lot of people. Enjoyed it but found that there are other restaurants in the area that had more ambience and better food!

The service A+, thanks Joesph, Michele and staff-excellent. The food, outstanding! Dining on the beach watching the sunset, priceless. I am very hard to please when it comes to my food, but these guys are great. Hope to return.
