Muddlebridge House and Cottages is a fantastic place to stay if you want to visit the North Devon Coast. We stayed in Thatchers Cottage and it had everything that we required to make our stay comfortable. Great for children of all ages as it has a heated indoor swimming pool, play area and two games rooms. There is also a outdoor play area. Ideal location for visiting the local beaches such as Saunton Sands and Woolacombe. It is also very near to the famous Tarka Trail if you enjoy riding bikes.
The owners also cater for bed and breakfast in the main house.

Have been here on numerous occasions and have found everything to be wonderful. Ruth and Graham are lovely people and will do their uttmost to make guests feel at home. I have known them for 4 years and have never found them rude in the slightest. Maybe the comment from another person was unjustified in the fact that they had not stayed there .I am unnaware of what their problem was but rest assured the owners are never rude,quite the opposite!!

We have just returned home after spending a week at Muddlebridge House in Fremington near Barnstaple. What a gorgeous guest house in a lovely location ,ideal for exploring the surrounding area. Muddlebridge has a super swimming pool and sauna,pets corner ,childrens adventure playground together with two games rooms .The house itself is kept exceptionally
clean and Ruth cooks a breakfast to die for !!!!!!! My husband, my
twelve year old son and myself had a lovely time ,the only problem now is we need another holiday to recover as we crammed in such alot .If you are looking for some family accommodation ,or a self catering cottage in the North Devon area i would definately recommend you check out Muddlebridge!!!
