“good value for your euro!!”
Reviewed June 1, 2014

This hotel is a great value for money place to stay. A couple of little glitches with the room but were sorted very efficiently by the friendly helpful staff. We stayed for 5 days but the room wasn't cleaned or the towels changed in this time. The hotel was extremely quiet at night so we slept very well, and the room was big not much wardrobe space tho. Its in a quiet location outside Paris about 10 mins from the excellent metro into the city which was very easy and safe to use. We were going to watch the French Open tennis and to sight see so were not in the hotel much so found this a good base to stay. For value for money and no frills we would recommend and stay here again without hesitation.

The hotel is in a calm neighborhood with easy but slow access to centrum. There is a small supermarket just in front of it and a much larger one about 5 minutes by foot. There are two options for reaching the main sights in central part of Paris: the dirty and smelly metro line 8 (30-40 minutes) or bus 24 (40-60 minutes), which terminal is less than 100 meters from the hotel.
The apartments are somewhat comfortable, although the bedroom is smaller than the bathroom. Cleanliness of bathroom, linen and towels was good, but on the other hand the furniture was dusty, the dishes in the kitchenette had memories about their last 10 foods, and the balcony that our room appeared to have, has never been cleaned. Anyway it was a good solution for a smoker. Actually the room that we had was very well situated - at the front side of the hotel, overlooking a small inner neighborhood street. The rooms on the back side are overlooking a busy boulevard and I do not know if any of them has a balcony. The surrounding area is noisy, but the windows had very good noise insulation. It is very quiet inside the hotel too - you will not be bothered by your neighbors' noise.
Maintenance of the hotel as a whole was not very good. In our living room 3 out of 4 lamps did not work. I asked the receptionist for spare bulbs, but he could not find ones in the evening. He promised to send a technitian in the morning, but it did not happen. Generally the staff was very apathetic, but never refused to assist if requested.
I can recommend this hotel for families that do not need fast access to centrum, but need space and calm surroundings. It is suitable for visits to Disneyland too, since Gare de Lyon is only 20-25 minutes away by bus 24 or metro.

A very nice apartment hotel just in the outskirts of Paris center. Located in a very safe neighborhood with a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance away. We arrived around 3:30 pm and the check in went really smooth for my family of 7 for 2 1-bedroom units. The receptionist Navid was very professional and accommodating. Overall it is our home away from home for 3 nights with clean rooms and complete with all the kitchenware you'll need. We'll for sure be coming back...

Me and my wife stayed here from 5/5/14 till 8/5/14 in room 235
We really enjoyed the friendly helpful staff on reception, they were very good at helping us to get around by the bus/metro and directions were straight forward.
The room was clean and spacious for us, the bathroom was clean, we really enjoyed our experience in France and the accommodation was just right, thanks to the reception staff again.

I travelled with a group in June 2013 and stayed in the hotel for one night.

The staff was helpful and friendly even though they didn't speak that good English and we had some communication problems.

The lobby was clean and spacious and there were at least 2 lifts in the hotel. The hotel had a room for luggage where we could leave our stuff after checking out.

As we travelled as a bigger group we occupied most of the rooms in the hotel. The opinions on the hotel vary depending on who you ask. My room was quite spacious and very clean and tidy with a nice little balcony. The bathroom was renovated and functioned well. I don't have any complaints. However, apparently half of the hotel hadn't (yet) been renovated so some of the bathrooms were very old and not-so-nice. I had a glimpse of most of the rooms and all the room themselves seemed ok.

One big minus I have to give were the locks on the doors. Many of us had problems with their locks. Some doors didn't open properly and some couldn't be locked at all except from the outside - which couldn't be done, of course, since the people would've been locked in also in case of fire etc.

There was a metro station quite close with good connections to the city and Disneyworld. Also there were shops, bars and restaurants within a walking distance.

Due to a short stay I can't give an in-depth review of the hotel. We stayed here as a part of a language course and therefore had e.g. a bus picking us up the next day so I didn't really get to know the area that well or have any idea how to get to the nearest airport etc.

I would recommend this hotel to people who are fine with staying in an average hotel and don't need luxury - I could stay here again :)

Room Tip: I would ask for a room in the renovated part of the hotel.

Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, despite being a budget holiday we had a really nice room overlooking the river and a small balcony (sort of...).
The front desk staff are friendly and go above and beyond to help if needed.

The rooms were really very nice, only downside to this hotel was the hallways. They needed cleaning more, otherwise was a perfect hotel. Definitely will be visiting again!

Accommodation for 4 adults in Paris is a bit of a tall ask. Finding a suitable apartment at a reasonable price is a bit of a pipe dream. Actually being prepared to look just beyond the Périphérique possibilities do emerge. We found the Appart City at St Maurice which is just a short ride along the metro in the direction of Creteil. And the price for 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen is surprisingly reasonable for Paris. The district is acceptable with reasonable infrastructure, coffee shops, cafes, and good supermarkets. But there is a “price to pay” for the moderate tariff. The apartment is not dirty, but it is worn and lots of maintenance needed to be done. About a third of the light bulbs were dead and the carpets and curtains stank of an earlier era when smoking was generally allowed. Beds were small and not overly comfortable, but then the bottom line is that you get what you pay for.

Room Tip: The higher floors get less traffic
