I came to La Table D'Antan for a lunch and was warmly welcomed by a friendly lady -- the owner. An appetizer was immediately brought to my table. In the menu there was an option of a “formule” dinner for 29 euro, but I decided to get a traditional duck with mushrooms: “Gigot de Canard mijoté aux Bolets et aux Girolles”, and a glass of red wine. The duck was perfectly cooked, and served with a potato gratin on the side. At the end, when I was ready to finish my lunch, the lady-owner brought a cart with a selection of cheeses (10 euro) that I could not resist. The cheeses were delicious, particularly goat cheese. The lady-owner also showed me how to get back to the train station. Overall –- very good food and friendly atmosphere.
