“Not worth the time”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

Too many nicer beaches to visit than to waste your time here. Rocky and very small. Very little breeze, so gets hot fast.

“Noisy, cramped, worth exploring elsewhere to find better beaches”
Reviewed February 20, 2013 via mobile

We didn't like this beach at all, despite it coming highly recommended. I guess the sand erosion must have affected it because last years photos and reviews show something quite different to what we experienced. Sun beds and umbrellas packed together on a minute strip of sand and stall holders swearing and playing loud music only a few feet away from us. We cut our losses after an hour despite having paid extortionate amounts for sunbeds. Disappointed but have found other much nicer beaches on the island.

“Small but beautiful beach”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

This was once a must visit beach but the sea has taken away a lot of the sand so there isn't a lot of room left. However it is still worth a visit. Stay for the morning or stay for the day. Have a snack at the beach bar and get your drinks from the little beach hut; they have great rum punch.

“A narrow beach after recent storms”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

This is a beach with plenty of facilities, loungers, beach bar and restaurant but sadly the beach is quite small now. My family had planned to spend the day, but came back to Holetown after looking at the beach. Recent storms have badly affected this beautiful beach.

“Good facilities and watersports”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

Not very wide beach, and ocean was a bit rocky. But water is calm and delicious and facilities are excellent. Especially the lady staffing the snack bar. Great attitude and nice selection. Nice caribbean side beach, but not spectacular.
