Stayed for 2 nights, lovely room, lovely en suit bathroom, lovely and welcoming host, idyllic and down to earth village full of charm. The breakfast was locally and ethically sourced which was fantastic and tasted wonderfully fresh. Highly highly recommend The True Heart, would stay again as it was by far our favourite b&b experience to date.

We stayed for 1 night in early February, arriving after dark. The room was a little small but immaculate, with every amenity provided. The house was full of character, Veronica the owner very helpful and chatty and breakfact excellent (largely locally-sourced produce). All-in-all, a quality B&B that we will most definitely use again.

my wife and I stayed for two nights at the True Heart where Veronica our hostess was just wonderful and very helpful even booking us a reservation at a nearby restaurant. The accommodation was excellent nice clean rooms with everything we required. Breakfast was very enjoyable with most of the ingredients locally sourced and the plentyful chocolates at the bottom of the stairs were thouroughly enjoyed!

Anyone visiting this charming location just of the A38 south of Gloucester who requires peaceful accommodation this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: take note of personnal recommendations they are better then brouchures.

Stayed here for a night early May.
Very friendly & accommodating in spite of my late arrival after work.
The room was compact but very well appointed, tidy & clean with a very nice en suite shower room with the best shower I've used in a long time.
In spite of having special dietary requirements a superb breakfast was laid on for me. As someone who knows their food I can say that the food here is truly excellent.
The village & surrounding area is stunning.
So good that my rather random visit for one day early May shall be repeated for proper summer break.

I had a lovely week long stay at the True Heart, Veronica, the owner, was a lovely host serving an excellent breakfast and providing a brilliant service all round.
The room i stayed although small was more than comfortable and the bathroom was very nice too.
