My family and some friends spent 2 nights there. It is quite pricey for what they offer.
The rooms are big, ours was clean, bed was comfortable. There is a parking just in front of the hotel. Convenient. So far these are the positives.
We were just unpacking when one of our friends called my wife terrified of a massive cockroach in their room. Since her husband was not with her, I went there to kill it, was the biggest one I've ever seen.
At about 06:30 in the morning ( we went to bed at 01:30 ) someone tried to unlock our door. My wife had to knock from inside. Whoever was, gave up. Minutes after that it became so noisy, it was impossible to sleep. Again the wifey went to check - 2 maids were chatting just in front of the door and were arranging their stuff - soaps, paper, shampoos there. She asked them to be a bit more quite. We just fell asleep again, when I woke up again. Someone was shouting in a terrible way, a female voice, like she was getting killed - "Help, help me please". I quickly put some clothes on and rushed out. I saw one of the Security staff in the elevetor. He told me not to worry, there was some mental woman in front of our door who's been there for some time, doing God knows what. And he asked me why we didn't call the reception. Like I have to guard the door all night.
Unfortunately this is not all. The next surprise was the breakfast. I've never seen one so poor and miserable. Hardly any choice, quality - not to be discussed. While we were eating, a foreigner came and asked the staff for a glass. He wanted some juice. He repeated a couple of times and after my translation, they gave him a glass. But instead of putting a couple of glasses on the table so everyone who wants can use them, they brought just one.
This is all on general. I skipped some more neative events. We visit Silistra from time to time but this is the first and last time I visit this place.

Room: Big, comfortable, clean.
Service: Friendly, helpful.
Food: Breakfast: the variety of food was poor. Not typical for Bulgaria.
The reception was always helpful. The safety of our parked car in front of the hotel was given.
The Viennese Café was wonderful! Cakes and best coffee were served.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, excellent restaurant, breakfast was very good and also the cuisine.
Large rooms and comfortable but smoke smell was annoying in our room.
Also nice SPA center and swimming pool.
I would recommend and for sure I will come again.

Ask the staff about restaurant NIKULDEN.Its not a high style restaurant but if you want a good and fresh fish dishes there is the place. The restaurant is on the shore of Danube and has a great view.

Room tip: Ask to see and smell the room first.
