If you visit lonavala you should also go to bhudhi dam and bhushi lake. You can enjoy picnic at this place. You can also camp this place. You can do boating. Great nature view.

This lake is beautiful to visit but yes it's too crowded as it's the main attraction of Lonavala.. you don't get good option for food too..

Bushi dam is about 6 km from the Lonavala railway station. On the way you will pass Lonavala lake and Lonavala fall. Little walk from the main road you will find this hidden beauty. The sight of water stream falling down on the steps is mesmerized during the monsoons. One can find lot of stalls near this spot where you can enjoy your tea and snacks. They provide facility for changing room for you to change your wet clothes post your bathing in the flowing stream. Photographs keep pestering you to take your snap and have machine for immediately printing the same. You can hire umbrellas from these stalls. If you decide to take bath in this flowing stream and had not come prepared with another set of clothes, still no worries, you can buy them here. Only problem in this place is the huge traffic jam as all Mumbakarsi and Punites seem to have converged here on the holiday and weekends. Place is ideal for spending 3 to 4 hours.

Good lake & spot but no required facilities ( Parking, Water, Food etc. ) There are few food stalls but quality & hygiene extremely poor.

Biggest attraction of lonavala, everybody wants to enjoy there. Very dirty place, do not understand, why cleaning of littered bins not done properly. Even on approach bridge on side, so much garbage, as if for many days its not cleaned. Parking is tobe done on open muddy plot where private people are charging fee, without giving any facilities.Seen few drunk men id day time abusing ladies and teens so beware. one may enjoy Bhutta roasted as well as boiled here.

Visit this place on monsoon , the overflowing water from dam is the beauty of this place. With the flowing water you can enjoy playing and taking nice pics.

I visited Bhushi lake on sunday and crowd was horrible. Locals street food vendors will trouble you lot. Overall place is good but sometimes you won't get good crowd.
