Bridies Bed and Breakfast
Reviewed September 28, 2011

Bridie is an excellent host, she is wonderful! The room was very comfortable and clean. Felt very safe in her home. Breakfast was delicious and relaxing. Very close to the subway stop and not too far from attractions. Excellent value, would stay here again.

We stayed in Ralph Lauren Room in the Bridie's for 4 nights in June and we loved it! The room is neat and tidy. I can tell the owner did spend some time for the decoration.

Before the trip I was a little bit worried there wont be much to do in Brussels (Honestly, the "things to do" shown on tripadvisors was a bit too tourisy).
Bridie was so nice to give us advice on where should we visit, maps, useful information about local points of interest, helping us look for a good restaruant for Mussels or nice Tuna steak which we ate while standing on the street by the kitchen and most importantly not to fall into tourist trap,.. basically everything you read in a travel guide! She is awesome! She is much more than a BnB owner. The breakfast was excellent too, I like it when she spoke highly of her own croque monsieur, such confidence :)
The location of the BnB is great too, it's literally a 'stone throw from the metro station' as Bridie told us in the email.

We got a discount by stayed for 4 nights! so i guess it's cheaper for a longer stay.

I would definitely stay @ Bridie's again. [ but sorry about the coffee mug Bridie :p ]

This is a nice, cozy B&B. Close to the centre (25mins walk, 10 mins by metro). The rooms are clean, quiet and spacious. Bridie is very nice and helpful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Brussels.

I always write honest reviews so i will start by saying there was a mix up and our room was double possibly triple booked but Bridie was very apologetic and evicted her grandaughter and changed the room so that we could stay there for the night until our room was free the next night. bridie even left us a couple of beers.Jades room was a cosy ensuite with a single bed and a pull out single underneath. it was nonetheless strange to say the least to be celebrating our engagement in separate single beds in a teenage girls bedroom surrounded by teddies in what was a bit more like a sleepover in your aunties house. the next morning we were given a lovely breakfast with bacon, eggs, pastries and homebaked scones. We spent the next two nights in the lovely ralph lauren suite which was very cosy, clean, well equipped and warm. all in all it was a very pleasant stay. Bridie was very helpful and welcoming. It was great value at only €65 per night inc breakfast and our first night was free given the mix up. ideally located just 2 mins from metro stations which were easy to use.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Although the B&B was located at the end of the metro line (2 minute walk to train), it was a great deal for those who don't mind a 15 minute train ride to downtown. Bridie helped us figure out stuff to do and was very knowledgeable about the area. She was very hospitable & wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our trip to Brussels. (For instance, we were there during a one-day train strike. She told us about this before hand, so that we could plan our day accordingly.)
The price was very reasonable. The rooms were clean & comfortable. Breakfast was typically cheese, cereal and bread with eggs/ham on request. There is a dog that lives there (Tara). She barks but is otherwise well-mannered.
We will definitely stay here again if we return to Brussels.
