I went here last night. I am local, I live in San Juan and I enjoy going out to restaurants. I don't have high expectations when I go to a place that is new for me. I had pass by this place a lot of times and I had heard their radio ads so I wanted to go. There is a really bad odor when you enter the place. When we entered, we waited for quite some time as waiters walk by. There were two different bars with two different music at very high volume, we couldn't heard ourselves when we talked. When we finally get a table, the real "EXPERIENCE" began. They brought us a soup and we were given one of those white plastic spoons. The soup was really bad, tasteless with small pieces of chicken bones. The bread was bad and old. But the worst was still to come. The food was worst than that. They include "congrí" with the dishes. That's a "cuban" rice with beans. I leave it intact on my plate after tasting it. As a previous reviewer said, they include the "tip" on the bill without letting you know, and they name it "tax". This was very confusing since I am a local and I know there is not a 15% tax. In Puerto Rico the tax is 7%. When I ask the waiter she could not explain. As we noticed, all of the people on the tables were asking the waiter the same thing when they receive the "check". I don't know how people can go once to this place and return. It was a really bad experience, my stomach is still paying the price from last night. As I said at the beginning, I am not very demanding and I don't have high expectations when going to a restaurant, but this was the worst experience I have encountered so far.
If need to go to a restaurant near the "Inn", go to "El Kampestre" or "La Tasca de Cacho".
