“AMAZING VIEW AND LOCALE”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

Visiting Hatu was the finale of our stay in Krish Rauni and simply a dream come true. Situated at a height of nearly 13000 feet, it provides a fantastic view of the surrounding hills, deep valleys and an aura of mist and snow. You literally feel on the top of the world. One is filled with a sense of achievement on reaching the top as the approach road is very narrow, steep and winding. at times, you feel really frightened. Aagyat is an adventure loving camp which organizes treks for the adventure hungry. There is something for the religious minded also as there is a beautiful ancient temple. The place is simply amazing and and is ideal for a day long picnic. One is welcome to stay longer and enjoy trekking around.

“Hatu Peak”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

We visited Hatu Peak on 22nd June 2013, the peak is nearly 8kms from Narkanda. The approach road is very narrow and steep, so better go on a car with good tyres and strong engine. It's very difficult for 2 cars to pass through. Some people were trekking also and when we reached the summit we could see a small beautiful temple and few benches to sit, but on our day there was a haze of clouds due to which we couldn't see much ahead. But there was no infrastructure for tourism there. So we clicked few photos and then returned back.

“Hatu Peak and Hatu Temple - Must visit”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

The Hatu Peak and temple are about 7 kms from Narkanda. The road is narrow
and the drive is decent and very picturous enroute.

The peak is at 3400 m and it's very windy so ensure you have some
headcap or monkey cap on.

The Hatu temple is about 100m before the peak and it's a nice wooden structure
with nice carvings.

Visit both these places for a divine and heightening experience.
