This is a new restaurant (as of 2013) in the San Pedro area, on Av. Vasconcelos (northern side, across from Tacos Milo). If you are looking for "traditional" Mexican food, this is probably not a place for you. In our opinion the menu has rather more healthy choices than many of the restaurants in the region typically offer. There is an outdoor dining area, which is quieter than the inside areas. So if you are eating here in the evening during late spring, summer or fall, you might want to elect for the outside terrace. There brick walls of the interior really reflect noise and since the interior tends to be very packed, it can be tough to carry on a conversation and be heard, or to hear. The crowd here tends also to be animated, and the energy levels are high. We have to disagree with an earlier writer, that the food was blah. We found it to be very good, definitely anything but blah, although some of the ingredients are perhaps less than common in Monterrey and maybe they were not used to unusual combinations of ingredients? In terms of cost, it does not seem all that out of line, you are paying for the experience of eating things that, mostly likely, you would never prepare for yourself at home (assuming that you could buy the ingredients at your local supermarket). We really like it, welcome Gallo 71, San Pedro is racing toward at a breakneck pace to becoming a world class city....and that requires world class dining too. We say "wow".
