Owner description: The home of the Jacob's Creek wine is located in the heart of Australia's most famous wine region, the Barossa Valley. Our home offers a memorable culinary tourism experience with a tempting combination of food and wine and sweeping views of vineyards and hills. The stunning building features benchmark environmental design, based on principles of sustainability, recycling and energy conservation. Come and try our great wines with a casual or structured wine tasting, learn about the regions history or enjoy a lunch at Our Table. Our food is inspired by the region and each dish represent something growing in our garden on the banks of the creek. Spend some time visiting our vineyard of 14 different grapes varieties (all in one place!) to learn more about how wine is made, take a walk through the picturesque grounds which are home to a wealth of native flora and fauna along the banks of Jacob's Creek or simply enjoy the views from the deck surrounded by the native Australian plant garden. The home of Jacob's Creek has been recognised as a leading wine tourism site and was entered into the South Australian Tourism Hall of Fame in 2010 for winning Best Major Tourist Attraction three years in a row.

“Our favourite winery in the Barossa Valley...”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

The service was excellent and the wines we found to be the best in the Barossa.... We had 12 bottles shipped to Melbourne for $15... The café was lovely and scenic... before you walk into the centre, they have all these vines in a row, showing you all the different grapes.

“Great coffee at cellar door!”
Reviewed January 22, 2014

We dropped in to the winery to do a bit of sampling, but decided to have a coffee as well - it was a really good coffee, and the views from the winery are lovely. It's a big cellar door, so a bit more corporate than others, but staff were friendly, if a bit rushed.

“Amazingly beautiful winery and restaurant - well worth a visit!”
Reviewed January 8, 2014

This is a stunning and very beautiful winery, with rolling hills, vineyards and a place to lay on the lush grass and enjoy the amazing wine on offer. The staff are very friendly and have an extensive knowledge both about the wine and the area. There is a lovely restaurant on offer as well, with professionally prepared local produce. I ended up wanting to buy all the amazing wines, and will be heading back soon.

“Daniel gave an awesome tour & tasting!”
Reviewed December 31, 2013 via mobile

We visited for the afternoon vineyard tour and wine tasting.

Our guide, Daniel, was extremely knowledgeable and made it a really great experience (and we have done different wine formal wine classes in Melbourne, and this was equally informative).

I would recommend this tour and tasting for novice to medium level wine enthusiasts. Make the most of it and ask lots of questions!
