My wife and I spent just one night at the Barossa Novotel on a mini break. We stayed in a "Superior" room which was not too bad (although the bed wasn't quite as comfortable as other recent hotel stays). All was clean and tidy, with an excellent bathroom - although the 'louvred' window was a little odd, and there wasn't quite enough water pressure. We had dinner at "Fermentasian" in Tanunda which was excellent, and had planned on skipping the included breakfast and head to the Barossa Farmers Market in Angaston. My wife wanted a cup of tea so we ducked into breakfast and ended up having a pretty good breakfast after all (Farmer's Market became "second breakfast"). My wife availed herself of the Endota Spa which she said was a pleasant surprise and far better a massage than she expected!
Overall - pretty good, however the only 'minus' (other than the bed) was the lack of any real mini bar.... We checked to see if they had one on their website, thinking that it would be a great opportunity for an in-room gin and tonic or glass of Barossa red before heading out for dinner - but two bottles of water was all that was there.....
