While we had a small issue on checking in, the staff were awesome. The restaurant is very good & being an Accor member, means significant discounts. All staff were of great assistance in finding great value and the best the Barossa has to offer. Definately going back there next time.

We stayed at the Novotel for a night for a romantic getaway.
We had a deluxe spa room which cost us just shy of 300 for the night during the week, the weekend we were quoted over 400! The room was very nice and clean and the bed was very comfy! Room was a bit small when compared to the pictures on the internet which are a bit deceiving. The spa was a 2 person spa but smaller then most other 2 person spas we have used. The tv was a large LCD, reception was good. the ipod dock was not working which was a bit disappointing. there was also a microwave in the room which was handy to heat up snacks.

Each room has a nice outlook over the hills and Barossa. Location is very private and secluded which was a nice touch. However it would be horrible in winter or summer walking to your room as all rooms are part of an outdoor lobby.

The facilities are great, we didnt use the pool or gym area but they looked very nice and clean. The onsite day spa was great and definitely recommended.

The restaurant was very nice! expensive but it is a classy place so you cant expect it to be cheap! the food was incredible and serving sizes were a bit average, but again most restaurants of this class have smaller servings. We were still hungry after so we ordered some room service and it was delivered quickly and still hot which was a nice touch. breakfast was ordered in room and this arrived on time and still hot and was very nice :)

staff are young, friendly and very bubbly! very professional. only complaint was the morning room service lady was certainly not happy when she handed me our breakfast, did not even greet me with a good morning.

overall a comfortable and romantic stay. quite luxurious. but for what you get, it is very overpriced, even internet was a extra cost on top of the $300 we paid! so all up, very nice if you like to splash money out, good food and modern, clean rooms. If you want better value for money, this is prob not the place for you.

Cycling the Kidman Trail to Kapunda and then returning to Adelaide on the Mawson Trail, who could resist a 5 star pit stop - right on the trail.. and it was a birthday. Arriving on bicycles was no issue, staff accommodated us without any fuss.
Room was great, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Dinner at Harrys was superb - can thoroughy recommend the signature Haighs Fondue dessert.
