Awesome Place
Awesome accomodation
Loads of peace and rest,
premium pricing and service with a smile.
Good Food and entertainment.

Just one thing about Room service- Calling the waiter is not easy, No Phones, a hanging bell that was not heard.

Room Tip: All are Good

Take a camel ride to your room and enjoy the amazing views of sunrise and sunset from the sand dunes. There are cars organized by the hotel which take you back to the main khimsar palace hotel. This is best for a night or two stopover before heading off to see the rest of Rajasthan. The staff are very helpful and their hospitality is second to none...

Visited in Dec2012. Excellent value for money. Pity it was an overnight stay. Definitely recommended. Efficient and friendly staff who know how to treat guests like royalty. The rooms were well appointed and clean. Was just too tired to try out the other facilities like the gym and home theatre. Maybe next time!!!!

Went there in Aug 2012. It is a fort which is converted to hotel. The royal family stays in one part of this fort. Rooms, beds and bathrooms were huge.........They have got nice collection of vintage cars displayed at the entrance. Prices were reasonable since it was off season. Food was excellent, though breakfast spread was limited. Must try their tomato shorba soup & cocktail "Thakur's fury" at their bar.

This is one of the few places where you can stay in luxury on the sand dunes and not empty your wallet. The room interiors are all very well thought off, taking care of the smallest details. The oasis at the centre of the village makes it a great place to relax. A perfect place for the sun, sand and water. The staff is very courteous, with wonderful service. A great way to experience sand dunes without having to travel all the way to Jaisalmer (although it is not worth substituting Jaisalmer).

The hotel has good facilities (spa, swimming pool) and huge comfortable rooms. Food is very good, a wide selection of dishes is available. The prices are reasonable. Internet is very expensive and not included in the price though.

We loved this hotel, we had a huge room with two bathrooms and two huge king size beds. Room was clean and comfortable with a big screen TV as well. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the pool was lovely to relax in after a hot days sightseeing. Grounds were well maintained and lovely. We had a very nice al fresco dinner on the top of the fort wall in the evening which was just gorgeous.
