“Beautiful”

Garjiya Devi Temple
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed March 2, 2014

Situated at the banks of the Kosi River the temple is almost more than 200 feets on a small hill top. The temple belongs to Mataji and is one of the preferred tourist spots. But the temple premise is very small. The entire Nanital valley can be seen from the temple. You can also spent couple of hours on the banks and give your feets some much needed rest in the cool waters.

Unique temple on a small rock in middle of Kosi river. All in all it gives soothing effect on mind . If one goes through old rope bridge, walking through the forest then it is double delight. A must visit place for everyone .

Right in the middle of the Kosi river on a rock. Feel like having divine blessings from the Goddess - another incarnation of The Shakti.

My most spiritual place. I ensure whenever I am nearby I ensure I visit this place. Calm place near the river, Person has to have a lot of belief and faith & then you know you are in right hands.

The location of temple is beautiful and sitting at riverside was very enjoyable. The stairs to the temple are very steep so old aged people should take care.
