This place was pretty basic. They only had electricity for a few hours in the evening via a generator, though we were the only guests there so maybe they have it on for longer when it is busy. It was very very cold at night (we did stay in the middle of January though!) I guess the buildings are made so they get rid of heat in the summer, so this isn’t really a negative if you stay when it’s hot. Our main problem was that it was dirty. The bed sheets were stained and full of holes and we weren’t sure if they had been cleaned since the last guests so we slept in our sleeping bags. It was probably the dirtiest place we stayed at during our 6 weeks in India, but still liveable if you aren’t the pickiest person in the world. The staff were very nice and friendly. We also stayed at Dhikala, which we preferred.
