Teak wood villa are nice for 2100 baths.
View is unbeatable. Paradise.

Bamboo hut are over priced for the quality.

To be seriously improved:

1- not capture wild animals and attach them

2 - to clean the resort area on a daily basis incl the beach. Thailand is offering a business to the Chinese managers. The least they could do is to respect the nature and environment.

3 - to improve the beach area

4 - to have much cleaner kitchen and restaurant

5 - to improve food quality (take example on your neighbour)

6 - to recommend honestly to the manager to dress up properly to receive guests and avoid touching them at any moment

7 - to wake up in the morning before 8 am so that the guests that are leaving at 8. 30 don't miss their boat (we did ask to check out the night before) and they did provide their private boat instead what was appreciated.

We stayed here for 4 nights, we slept in the first house on the right coming from the beach, which is smaller than a villa but much more comfortable than other houses shown on their website.
Clean, quite, comfortable, equipped with a nice and cheap bar.
Breakfast was fine; never tried their dinner, though.
Chinese resort manager is kind and available; he helped us finding boat trips and renting a motorbike.

If you want theme parks, shopping, bars and nightlife then don't stay here! But if you want a beautiful bungalow overlooking the ocean and do nothing except eat good food, swim, walk in the sand and stare at the sea, then this is an excellent choice. We booked a teakwood villa which was big enough to put an extra queen bed in for our 2 kids to share and still have heaps of space. Most bungalows regardless of type have a great view of the ocean. There is also a small, pleasant pool overlooking the ocean.

Service was excellent and special mention to the Head Waitress, Gwynn, who ensured the restaurant ran efficiently and was friendly, plus her husband who works as the chef and constantly delivered great food. The local Manager (not sure of his name) was also warm and friendly and always able to answer any question or provide help if needed.

The humble but beautfiul resort is located next to 3 other simple accommodation places on the same beach, one of which also has a good restaurant. There is a small village on the island but it's not particularly exciting and you need to hire a motorbike to get there. The access road to Ko Jum Resort is 4WD stuff. The resort offers a sea kayak and has a pet monkey, plus offers massages.

The only way to get to Ko Jum is catch the ferry from Krabi to Ko Lanta early in the morning (or the opposite way later in the morning) and be intercepted by a pre-arranged long-tail boat from the resort. If you are old with wonky knees then this is not a good choice because of the hill that the resort is built on, but if you are able to walk up and down a small, steep hill then it's no problem (especially when staff are always on hand and eager to carry your bags). Also, there is no hot water, which is a slight drawback. But otherwise it is excellent, romantic, friendly, peaceful and beautiful..

Room Tip: We booked a teakwood villa which was big enough to put an extra queen bed in for our 2 kids to share...

The teakwood cabin is a one off! was incredible, and the most memorable place that we stayed in thailand. the staff were also very friendly and made us feel at home. this is a great place to relax and read a book for a few days, and it's pretty romantic if you're in a couple.

The bungalows are clean, nie and have a nice balcony with superb seaview. The restaurant is very good, the pool is situated so you can watch the sunset from it. The beach is okay and NOT to many people.
We rented bicykles - a perfect way to explore the island..
NB; no ATM in Koh jum

We stayed down the beach but visited for dinner.

The staff were pleasant but not very fast, in fact they were positively slow. The chairs in the restaurant left our feet dangling - minor niggle.

The free wi-fi is only for residents. Shame really as we spent quite a lot.

The Satay as a starter was perhaps the poorest we had.

They did fill up during our meal and I suppose that says something.

OK, could try harder.
