This is an amazing place. We had great time to sail through the limestones and visited the James Bond Island. The weather was nice and the guide was very helpful.

Beautiful beautiful sceanary. You can get boats from Klong Khian Pier to the numerous islands as well as from many other places. There's not much at Klong Khian and no beach to mention. The road from the west is being rebuilt so access will be easier.

This National Park is world famous and even staying over an hours drive away from the area there are plenty of travel shops offering day trips. They mostly include guided travel by longtail-boat around the park and between the muslim floating village (including lunch), a canoe ride under cliffs and through mangroves and the touristy visit to Ko Khao Phing Kan (aka James Bond island). It’s great day out and a memorable one. Breathtaking scenery.

We had done booking by Justgophuket.com; their rates were lowest than local tour operators in Phuket town were offering. It includes pick up and drop from the hotel. Pick up at hotel was in time. We were taken from Hotel to Ao Po Pier by mini van, along with some other guests. At Ao Po pier we had to wait for 10-15 minutes, however complementary tea- coffee and cookies were arranged. We were asked to board big boat with appx. 40-50 other guests. We had two 3 year kids with us, so had opted for big boat tour, rather than speed boat option. Vegetarian food was arranged by tour operator for 6-8 Indian tourists. Tour was conducted by Phuket Patri Tours from Ao Po Pier.
We were taken to Pinak Island; Hong Island; James Bond Island; Another Island which had secluded beach and finally back to Pier by 4 pm. We had gone on kayaks (Small rubber boats small enough for two-three persons) on Pinak Island and Hong Island. Hong Island was really superb and enjoyed breathtaking views. They took us through caves and lime stone formations.
All and All had a memorable day.
Costs around 1600 TBH per person for entire day all inclusive.

If you have any second thoughts about making this trip, just throw them out of the window because it really is one of the most beautiful trips you can ever make. But my favorite part about the trip was the canoeing experience so you have to make sure that you pick a tour operator that gives you enough time for that. Canoeing through the caves is just spectacular. Our tour operator ended the trip at a secluded island where we could just canoe by ourselves for an hour and watch the sunset. I strongly recommend this experience.

While James Bond island isn't quite that great, the journey through the bay is amazing.

Most of the tours start really early (6.30am) in the morning, but we weren't quite in the mood to wake up so early on a vacation, so we looked around for tour operators that picked us up a little later (9am) from the hotel and dropped us back in the evening.
