In the middle of a largely cantonement town stands the Christ Church of Kasauli.

A little run down but overall well maintained and kept clean, this is perhaps one of the few links to the past in this area. Sadly, it's not kept as well as it could be and perhaps the Cantonment Board would consider spending some resources to showcase some more history here.

The church, standing at the beginning of mall road, is rarely crowded and offers quite solitude for those who wish to visit it. Kasauli is a quiet town and the church is reflection of that silence.

The church is designed in the classic style of its times and you will see many such similar looking buildings in the old colonial settlements scattered across Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

As the decades go by, the charm of visiting places like Kasauli will be to peek into the annals of history and how these places came to be.

It’s a beautiful church and the oldest in Himachal. It’s one of the landmarks of Kasauli. Built by the British. There’s a sundial outside the church belonging to the same era. I’d been to this church in 2006 and now again in December 2018. It was a quiet place then but now lots of visitors. It has beautiful stained glass windows. The aura and vibes of this place is very serene and positive. A place not to be missed if you are visiting Kasauli.

Been to this beautiful church almost every single time i've been to kasauli. This church is the perfect completion to the beautiful town of Kasauli. However often missed by travelers is the old clock which is on the main tower as seen from outside. The clock is almost 150 years old and the main functioning unit of the clock has recently been restored to its original glory with no modern modifications. One can actually get to see the British time old working unit of the clock on special request which itself is was a new experience.

You will find loads of crowd at this place.. This is an old church as well as one of the most popular market places. Visit this place if you are keen on touristy places. It comes with its set of parking issues, too many people, expensive shopping.

The place is infested with monkeys and dogs all over, not enough place for the people to walk leisurely.

But overall enjoyable, as there is nothing much else to see in Kasauli.
