went to kasauli town just for a quick weekend getaway with my wife and kid. i have stayed at kasauli resorts plenty of times before because my brother was studying at sanawar. but this time it felt refreshing , seeing the place after 3 years. same old charm of the place, good food, excellent service and great view of the mountains. would love to go back again.

It's the best resort in Kasauli, located about 2 KM short of the mall road. I was there this weekend for two nights with my wife. As you turn the bend & see this colourful resort, it's a treat after the 6 and a half hour drive from Delhi.

Having rated it as great as per it's location, it still needs to raise the bar to fully live upto it's potential in other areas. I'm in no way suggesting that it's bad.......on the contrary it's good, but needs to polish off some rough edges. The rooms are good & spacious but the housekeeping standards need a push. The staff are very polite & professional but need to work silently especially in the early hours i.e between 6 to 9 Am.

Food, the lifeline of any resort is good with a few areas of concern. The buffet breakfast is good but could do with an addition of fresh fruits & some more varied non fried items on the list. But apart from that the buffet is good. The Ala carte menu is also good except that some of the prices are a little steep.

The lawns & the recreational areas are immaculately maintained & can be enjoyed by both children & adults.

In a nutshell, I definitely recommend this place whether you visit it as couple, as family or with friends.

Room Tip: All rooms are valley facing but the ones on the upper floor have a better view.

Location - well situated at the start of kasauli
Staff is friendly
Food is good (Owing to my pregnancy I could not eat much but loved the masala papad)
Room - large & comfy (one mattress has gone slightly awry). Bathrooms are not well lit plus our WC flush malfunctioned so water spilled in the bathroom.
Nice garden & kids play area

We made a last minute plan so could not bargain and got a room for double occupancy at Rs 6000 a night. My suggestion book in advance & bargain well

Spa - is Ok. I took the reflexology foot massage & my husband took head & shoulder massage. Nothing impressive

Overall a good option to stay & enjoy with friends & family...

Room Tip: All rooms are good

The hotel is nicely situated facing a peaceful valley. It is about two km away from the small town kasauli, but the walk/trek up the hill was fun.
Clean and spacious rooms, open lawns for kids to stretch themselves and good food.
Stayed in this hotel twice and both the experiences were as good as the other. Best for small weekend getaways and relaxing holidays.

Kasauli resorts is a beautifully located hotel with an amazing valley view. We were welcomed into kasauli with unexpected snowfall, the. Hotel security staff was very very helpful in escorting us and other guests safely to the hotel from where our cars were stranded ( close to the hotel but the cars were slipping due to snow). They also ensured our cars were parked safely. The food at the hotel is good and served hot with warmth. Ample place for kids to play unrestricted. The only minor downside was the quality of housekeeping. I just feel that has room for improvement. They could not provide extra quilts or heaters in the rooms ( which were required due to the cold caused by the snow), but overall it's a hotel worth staying in. Make sure you ask for valley view rooms.

I stayed for one night during my business trip.. found to be very convenient to reach nice parking space and located in a wonderful location. Kasauli Resort is not a name if you are looking for ultimate luxury but perfect destination for mid-range hotels good food nice peaceful location.. what else you want in a hill station.. yes one drawback slightly away from the mall..

Room Tip: Try for valley view rooms in the upper floor to get a better view.
