Met up with friends for coffee. Decided on a bacon butty .
Delicious nicely cooked. Coffee best I've tasted locally.
Good atmosphere, great service quick and polite.
It was so busy people were queuing to get in.
Very popular.

My friends and I have visited Archers a number of times but have not been lately. You do have to get there early or you won’t get a seat as you cannot reserve a table. It is off the beaten track and it is right by the sea shore. The cafe is set in an old barn and it has been tastefully converted. Lots of twinkly lights are everywhere and you have three booths that hold around four people plus other tables and settees in two separate rooms. There is a lot of meat on the menu, however my friend who is a Pescatarian had the Scampi which she exchanged the chips for a jacket. I had the gammon and jacket which was delicious. There was lots of cakes to choose from but we were very full with our mains. (There is also a specials menu) I noticed quite a lot of people queuing up to get a table, however if you book for Afternoon Tea you can reserve your table in advance for 2.30pm. The food prices were average. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You can sit outside in the summer and they have various little animals and birds for children to see.

Don’t let the outside appearance put you off (neat but unimaginative), inside is cosy, warm and vey well presented. More to the point the selection and quality of the food is excellent and the staff warm and friendly. Splendid stop during our coastal walk.
