“excellent meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2011

We ate on the terrace overlooking the beach. Service was friendly and informal and he spoke perfect English. Starters were rather ordinary but the maincourse fish was wonderful. I had sole and my wife monkfish in a pepper sauce both served with a selection of inventive vegetable dishes. A small carafe each of red and white. Passed on dessert. Bill came to 72 euros - not cheap but well worth it for what was a perfect evening.

“Pricey but good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2011

Stayed nearby and had lunch here - prices on the high side £140 for 4 people Inc. Wine (nowhere else to eat in either direction for 2miles) but the quality and service were very good.

The front of house is run impeccably - and he speaks 5 languages fluently!

“A little gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2011

It was after 2pm, we were hungry on route from Brest to Perros Guirec and we spied this unpretentious small restaurant overlooking the beach.

Officially they closed at 2pm but did not need too much persuasion to let us have the plat du jour - grilled lemon sole with a variety of unusual vegetables and sauces. Absolutely delicious and completely unexpected - the standard of cooking was very high.

It is a mother and son operation. The son has worked at a senior level at various grand hotels in London and his mother had always wanted to run a restaurant. She is an amateur but certainly knows how to cook.
