Boyfriend and I stayed for 6 nights and we could not fault Villa Magnolia. It's one of those rare places where the photos don't disappoint, if anything they don't do it justice! We had the pool to ourselves for the first two days which was heavenly relaxation. I also enjoyed a massage in the temple. We enjoyed relaxed lunches of things we bought in the local supermarket plus fresh produce from the Villa's garden. Lesley was great at helping us plan our time and making great restaurant recommendations and reservations, especially accommodating the fact that we didn't want to drive every night. The location is great, easy to access lots of the towns you'd want to visit and also close to Brindisi airport. Couldn't leave a review without mentioning pizza night. It was great fun with delicious home cooked food. Thank you Ron and Lesley

Only stayed here for three nights, but wished it had been much longer. This has to be the most relaxing place we've ever been. From entering through the gates to the moment we left Ron & Lesley made us feel at home. Their eco friendly Villa was an absolute pleasure to stay at, with it's incredible pool & temple area. I could ramble on about the accommodation , but I'm sure it's all been said before, We were lucky enough to be there on one of their pizza nights, which was great fun, and very entertaining, although my pizza making left a little to be desired.
If you're looking in this area don't miss out on a first class place to stay.

Wow! This place really exceeded our expectations, if truth be told this was supposed to be the warm act before the main event at Masseria Torre Maizza but how wrong we were.
We pulled up at the villa gates and were treated to a very warm welcome from Ron (the owner of the property with his wife Lesley) who helped us with our luggage and gave us a detailed tour of the residence. Having met Ron we knew instantly we were in good hands.
The property itself is finished to a high standard with four lovely suites and clearly some serious thought has gone into the rebuild and design of the residence with some fabulous gardens and pool area (incidentally they provide the coolest lilos).
I cannot think of another holiday where we felt so relaxed, we started with best intentions to see some of the attractions of Puglia and whilst we saw a few, for large periods we could not tear ourselves away from the pool as it is just so relaxing there. This is largely down to the serene, tranquil surroundings of the villa amongst the olive groves but also down to Ron and Lesley. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always on hand if we needed anything. At breakfast, in addition to the customary spread we were treated to Lesley's homemade chocolate muffins and thereafter we were able to use the villa bicycles to cycle to the beach. In the evenings Lesley recommended several fantastic restaurants in Ostuni and Caravigno, she also kindly made the reservations for us as our Italian is somewhat limited!
Do we have anything bad to say about our stay at Villa Magnolia? Only that we did not stay long enough and get to experience their famous pizza making night and the homemade limoncello!
Of course we enjoyed our stay at Torre Maizza but the Villa Magnolia stole a place in our heart, there is no doubt we will be heading back. They may not have the badge but they are Mr and Mrs Smith in our book.

Thank you so much Ron and Lesley for making our stay so special, see you again soon.

Returned from a fantastic stay at Villa Magnolia. Greeted with flowers and bubbles, although it was a bit last minute. Lesley and Ron have created a charming get away in the heart of Puglia, they offered some great tips for day trips.

Pizza night was fun and entertaining. All the rooms have are well equipped and handsomely decorated, spacious and spotless.

Thank you for such a lovely stay and we will post some photos soon.

Room Tip: Room at the rear of the property with its own private area with access was great.

Villa Magnolia is a very special place - a beautiful villa with 4 gorgeous suites, a stunning pool, lovely outdoor garden area for breakfast and wonderful hosts, Lesley and Ron. The villa is a very short drive to Ostuni and Brindisi and a half hour to Lecce. It is ideally situated to visit many places in Puglia. And every recommendation by Lesley and Ron - whether a restaurant or place to see - was perfect. We had so much fun on pizza-making night with Lesley and Ron and the other guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Magnolia and can't wait to return!

We used Villa Magnolia as our base to look around Puglia. It is well located but you definitely need a car. The hosts Lesley & Ron could not have been more friendly and helpful. They know how to run a B&B. The accommodation is excellent. There are only 4 very well equipped rooms and no children, so not for families. The gardens and pool make for beautiful surroundings. The only minor (and I mean minor) negative would be the continental breakfast could have a wider variety.

Thank you so much for your kind review, much appreciated. Our number one priority is ensuring guests enjoy their time here at Villa Magnolia.
We serve a typical Italian breakfast consisting of freshly baked croissants, breads, butter and an array of homemade preserves. Cereals x 2 varieties granola and whole grain bran flakes, yoghurts (fruit and plain), honey and a fresh fruit salad (sugar free). Milk, orange juice, tea, coffee (espresso, filter, cappuccino etc), homemade cakes. We are happy to arrange an alternative breakfast for those who require gluten free, sugar free etc. Of course we are always open to suggestions!

Having had such a wonderful stay last year we booked again for June 2013 for five nights. Arriving late on the first night and clearly being weary travellers, Lesley had prepared a wonderful meal for us.

There have been some refinements since our last visit, notably the mineral water 'on tap' by the kitchenette.

The hospitality was unobtrusive but very welcoming and Lesley's advice on where to eat was 'spot on'. Ron tirelessly beavers away at the many chores that are clearly needed to keep the property in first class condition!

Will we return for a third year? Most probably!!
