Located on the main street of Taganga behind the beach, this restaurant does not catch the eye when you first pass in front but it's worth to stop for dinner.
The menu is not 3km long but has enough choice, and especially the prices are really ok and not as pumped up as in other places.
As for the food, it's simple but rather good and tasty, and the lemonade is huge.
I definitely recommend to eat there while you're in Taganga.

Although not as flashy as other restaurant on the main street in Taganga, Bitacora is a place worth visiting. Everything is this place is simple, from decor to food.

I ordered a local fish 'mero'. It was nicely seasoned and grilled, served with a choice of chips/rice/lentils and a special salad. A very simple meal but from very fresh high quality ingredients, so it was very good. Portions are generous and the whole meal with a beer cost around 25k.

Nothing fancy, but if you enjoy simple fresh food - come to this place.

I loved it ! Simple, popular, superb tastes and wonderful prices. I had the spinach gratin for 3 Euro and it tasted like in Europe. The papas or fries were the best ever in Colombia with some salt and mayonaise. Everything was great !

This is another one of the numerous restaurants on the beachfront prominade, but the food here is better than most of them. It's a small place and difficult to get a table because word has gotten around that the cook here has talent. We ate two meals here and sampled several of the lunch and dinner menu items. All of them were quite tasty. Worth trying!

No wonder that this small beach front spot is always packed! We ate there last night and really enjoyed it. I had the fish filet which was out of this world as are the French fries and jucies. The vibe there is also really great. The kitchen is a bit to slow but tranquilo and everything is ok! I would definitely recommend this spot!
