“Fantastic feast!!!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013 via mobile

We had the BBQ and it was by far the best meal we have had so far during our travels through Hawaii and Colombia. Make sure to try the chocolate brownie with ice cream! Bloody beautiful

“Killer BBQ Even better mojito”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

We visited cafe bonsai and were blown away. It was by far the best meal we had in Taganga. The menu is small and we were a group of 5 including one vegetarian, we sampled a bit of everything off the menu and all left more then satisfied. We finished our meal with a stellar mojito and can't wait to go back for more!

“overrated and nothing special”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

I found this place overrated and expensive for nothing special. The setting is nice next to the beach but at least for breakfast it was just a standard thing which you can get in every hostel for less.

We ate their BBQ twice, both times really really good. Breakfast where also nice, with whole grain bread. Nice and comfy place.

“Truly an oasis!”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

Cafe Bonsai is truly an oasis. A great place to unwind and relax before, after, or during a day at the beach. From coffees throughout the day, homemade breads, great sandwiches and more - there is something for everyone. The owner is a relaxed laid-back guy (who speaks great English if you need him to) and the food is prepared fast and delicious. Be sure to get a mojito when you're there. Happy hour from 6 to 10 every evening, and a BBQ that is hard to beat. I've had a week here in Taganga and I think for the remaining two weeks I will end up at Cafe Bonsai several more times.
