“Nice hotel in the mids of bromo”

During peak season this hotel is very recommended. Must reserve earlier. Good view. Friendly staff. Water heater works well. Only a few foodstall outside. But it's ok. No slipper. Bring your own. Cold tiles. I always brings my own pillow cover. Better be prepared for the worst. Because you need a good rest. The sunrise and crate tour starts at 3.00 in the morning.

This place is simply depressing. Not just the hotel but the area too! We just stayed here for our visit to Bromo. We booked it through the hotel. I would recommend booking elsewhere if you can. We paid 450.000IDR each which seemed a bit of a rip off. They call it a tour, but none of them speak English lol. They won't even talk to you - all they do is drive you, that's it. So I'm pretty sure you could find a cheaper 'tour' elsewhere. The hotel has breakfast included, but it's just toast and jam indonesian style (served with plenty of ants) :p.

- First of all, the hotel landscaping is wonderful,
- Room/bathroom:
1. Quite big to fit 5 of us, we requested an extra bed (just a normal mattress) and with a king size bed.
2. No hot water as the heater was running out of gas. So just get ready to shower yourself with an ice cold water.
- Food:
The weather is really cold so you will easily get hungry. Therefore, you will attack everything on the buffet line. But its just bit sad, there was not much of variety. They only served fried noodle, omelette, some local delicacies and coffee/tea.

Overall, me and my friends were happy to be there just because of the hotel location. It is a strategic place. You can see the mountain just across the street (lookout point). So, it is an OK and average rate for me to BROMO PERMAI.

This hotel was ok. There was no hot water, the rooms were freezing (October), they gave you free tea/coffee, but no hot kettle until the evening. The all you can eat breakfast is ok. The problem for this hotel is that there are so many other (nicer) places to stay in the area for about the same price or a bit more. I recommend you take your business elsewhere.

the hotel is pretty old and not well maintain. we can stay just only one night then go look for other hotel which we found one (add abit more money and get much better room with better location).
the hot water can finish without warning and it was freezing (lucky that it was during the daytime)

the food is pretty good for dinner but average for breakfast.

You can't beat the hotel's location just across the road from the craters rim, but the rooms are basic. The single beds are really comfortable & have thick blankets for those cold nights & staff leave a thermus of hot water for early morning coffee & tea outside your room. Hot water is iffy, so expect a VERY cold shower. The restaurant serves up some nice food, not exactly Indonesian fare, but still good. Stay 2 nights so you have plenty of time to explore all the options & walks around Bromo, plus enjoy the temperate climate.

Room Tip: Try & get a room at the back of the property as it is much quieter.

Good location, friendly staff, good restaurant (try the rawon). Rooms are very basic but acceptable for a 1 night stay. Hot water was limited pressure. Television did not have any English language channels but you're not there to watch TV anyway. Overall I would recommend it for a 1 night stay. There are not a huge number of other options in the area.
