We stayed at the Coach House last week with our cockapoo Harry for a Winter break exploring the Cotswolds and local area.
We were met on arrival by the owner Mandi and pleased to find the apartment clean and warm and well equipped. Reading other reviews guests were almost unanimous in their satisfaction with the location and accommodation and we would not disagree with any of those views.
However one aspect of the property which seemed significant to us was not mentioned which we can only assume is a factor of our age and fitness. The accommodation is on the first floor reached by a steep narrow staircase with a sharp turn at the top. The toilet and bathroom are on the ground floor resulting in scary trips to the loo especially when you are half asleep.
If you’re young and/or fit and mobile please ignore my comments and enjoy this holiday let like so many others.
Unconnected with the accommodation itself, we should also add a word of caution to those bringing a dog. Check the hazards of Alabama Rot in the Forest of Dean - extremely rare but fatal.

Booking was easy, we were met on arrival and all round had a brilliant time
Stayed four night's. And was very happy with our choice of accommodation. had days out at Gloucester and Ross on Wye. And tewskesbury lovely places of interest and not to far away to drive. We had everything we needed for our stay at the coach House. And loved sitting in the orchard in the late evening relaxing after a busy day. Thanking Mandi for every thing. Would recommend if you want to explore the forest of Dean. Freda and Susan.
Located in Tibberton Village, the Coach House was Ideally situated close to the Forest of Dean with Gloucester, Ledbury and Ross-on-Wye nearby. We found the book on Tibberton Village and its past residents fascinating and this inspired us to take several walks accompanied by our dog Fritz to Huntley Road to see the ancient Church and other historic buildings. The Coach House itself was well-equipped with quality kitchen appliances, plenty of cooking utensils and a luxury bathroom with superb power shower; private parking, the orchard & dog friendly
complete the picture; value for money; would recommend.
