“Ageeing Hotel”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

Have been 4 times at the hotel Novotel Saclay.
The 3 floor where I was the rooms really needs to be refurbish.
Service was not at the level expected for this category of Hotel and price.
Toilets where not cleaned and then room cleaning remains suspicious all the stay (2 nights). I am Accord Club gold and this is more or less unacceptable .

I've just come back from a weekend staying in Saclay, we drove from Worcester to Saclay in our own car so we did not mind the hotel location being so far from Paris. I stayed at the Novotel Saclay with my brother (21) and my cousin (17) - It cost us 55.33 euros each.

Friendly Staff, great selection of breakfast however bad location for Paris if you have not hired a car/bought your own.

I thought the room we stayed in was very dull, The bathtub had hairs in it, there was no mirror above the desk and one of the side tables by the double bed was too small to use.

The swimming pool was outside and was not heated, the gym was very small and the entrance to it isn't very welcoming.

The mini bar in the room was also ridiculously overpriced (4 euros for a tiny Toblerone) and I did not like how the toilet was separate from the bathroom in the hotel room I stayed in...

Next time I visit Paris I will aim to stay near a train station.

Fairly run of the mill hotel. Stayed whilst at a nearby convention and was acceptable as a base. Rooms are spacious but a bit hot and you can't open the windows due to the noise of nearby motorway, beds a bit uncomfortable, bathroom fine.
The gym is a room with 1xrunning m/c, 1xcyclem/c, 1xcross trainer!!

Found a really nice French/Lebanese restaurant in the village - good local ambiance and good priced very tasty food.

Overall standard Novotel.

Chose this hotel for overnight stop on the way from Derbyshire to Beziers. Usual Novotel ambiance, spacious room with the quirky bathroom where it is difficult for a tall man to get wet under the shower. Arrived and left in darkness but the proximity of the dual carriageway may cause concern if the grounds are used. Silent nights sleep with window open. Reasonable meal price and quality but surprised at the adoption of plastic menus of the type used in fast food chains. Excellent prebooked rate for Saturday night but would be disappointed if I had paid the rack rate. Circumnavigating Paris to the west is not for the faint hearted and in advisable without satnav so best stick to weekends.

The hotel is located near to many high tech companies and famous French Tech Univ. Therefore the place is mostly visited by business travelers. I arrived by car and there was plenty free car park which is a big plus. Hotel room was spacious and clean. My TV didn't function, but fixed quickly after informing the reception. Breakfast on average level, not much choices but just Ok. in general I am satisfied with this hotel.

Room Tip: all rooms are quiet. I stayed on second floor.

I was stay in Novotel Saclay for 3 night, hotel was far from public transportation esp. Train. If you no have car, only way is taxi from train station or paris. The hotel have swiming pool, fitness and another that chain hotel should had. The room was very clean and it was cleaned every day. In the room have 2 big bed and small bathroom which seperate from toilet. The hotel have very small lift that can took only 3- 4 person so if have many lugglages it will take more time. The staff is good. Breakfast is average.
The only disadvantage is far from public transportation, you must have car to go this hotel.
