Food delicious although the service was a little slow, but may have had something to do with one table who were being a little awkward with their order.

The restaurant is a little unusual in that the eating area is a huge square wooden canopy with a set back building which I assume is the kitchen area. It is set in an orange grove with a bridge over a large goldfish pond. The design is simple inside. What strikes you most is the almost zen like tranquility. Almost surreal. The staff are happy and engaging. They go an extra mile like the waitress Gabriella who played with the children and assisted in our fun cross-family drawing competition by judging it! The food is very good and the value excellent. Village sausages, meat pie, large steaks and tuna salad were our choice over our two visits. Simple, relaxing and welcoming I think we may pop back one more time!

On seeing this restaurant from the road it seemed to lack atmosphere and there didn't seem to be many diners in there so didn't feel compelled to go in. However we walked past esperides every day so mid way through the holiday decided to give it a go.
It was fairly quiet when we got there but filled up as the night went on.
We had village sausage, baked feta and courgette croquettes for starters and they were all excellent.
For main we had mixed grill- lovely and good value, kefalonia meat pie- large portion, very filling and rabbit in tomato sauce- tasty but the chips it came with seemed to have been doused in oil from the sauce the rabbit was in so couldn't eat many of them.
We were given a small dish of fruit salad each which was fresh and delicious.
The fish pond was a real point of interest for my son, it kept him entertained and he didn't want to leave.
A lovely restaurant with nice staff.

Good food lovely setting and as the owner has a large organic orange grove, there were oranges at the entrance for customers to take. We were also given a large bagful which I must say were the nicest oranges we have ever tasted. An all round wonderfully experience

Lovely meal, in an Orange Grove of 800 trees. With frogs croaking by the pond. Very romantic. Two course meal with wine and beer less than 30 euros. We will be back!
